Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>La sixi\u00e8me \u00e9dition des Championnats d\u2019Afrique de Scrabble s\u2019est termin\u00e9e mardi 17 mai, avec la triomphe de King Josaphat Nkouete Chewa.<\/b><\/p>\n

Le rideau s\u2019est ferm\u00e9 sur le sixi\u00e8me championnat d\u2018Afrique de scrabble. Apr\u00e8s la victoire du Nig\u00e9rien Abdouramane Moussa en finale de Scrabble Classique, l\u2019autre finale prestigieuse, celle du Scrabble Duplicate, a vu la victoire d\u00b4un local. Un jeune Camerounais prometteur, King Josaphat Nkouete Chewa, a \u00e9t\u00e9 sacr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le Cameroun obtient une m\u00e9daille d\u2019or \u00e0 l\u00b4occasion de cette CAN de Scrabble 2022, disput\u00e9e \u00e0 domicile. Le soulagement est immense pour le pr\u00e9sident de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration nationale de Scrabble et h\u00f4te de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, Am\u00e9d\u00e9e Assomo.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Il a tenu, non ? Le mental ! C\u00b4est la plus belle m\u00e9daille parce que c\u00b4est l\u00b4\u00e9preuve la plus difficile. On joue contre un ordinateur et c\u00b4est extr\u00eamement stressant. \u00c0 l\u00b4avant-derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e, pour faire une similitude avec le football (r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la qualification des Lions indomptables pour la Coupe du monde 2022 face \u00e0 l\u00b4Alg\u00e9rie, NDLR), on \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s mal barr\u00e9. Mais notre champion a gard\u00e9 le moral et tout s\u00b4est bien pass\u00e9. \u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n

Drapeau camerounais sur les \u00e9paules, le champion du jour, King Josaphat Nkouete Chewa, a d\u00e9couvert le Scrabble gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un oncle. Il jouait aux d\u00e9buts sur le dos d\u2019un calendrier avec des jetons de bois.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u00b4est un accomplissement que je n\u00b4aurais pas imagin\u00e9 avant le championnat. Je savais que je pouvais faire quelque chose, mais pas \u00e0 ce niveau. J\u00b4ai jou\u00e9 comme si la vie de ma m\u00e8re en d\u00e9pendait (rires). J\u00b4ai mis le drapeau du Cameroun parce que j\u00b4ai jou\u00e9 pour le pays, plus pour moi. C\u00b4est ce qui m\u00b4a motiv\u00e9<\/b>\u00bb, confie-t-il \u00e0 Rfi.<\/p>\n

De l\u2019avis de ses co\u00e9quipiers, King Josaphat Nkuete Choa a un bel avenir devant lui et un potentiel de champion du monde comme son compatriote, \u00c9ric Salvador Tchouyo.<\/p>\n
