C\u2019est l\u2019album Maimouna et le titre \u00e9ponyme qui va le r\u00e9v\u00e9ler au grand public en 1989. Mai\u0308mouna est une chanson triste. C\u2019est une histoire v\u00e9cue. Cette chanson raconte un choc violent qui a marqu\u00e9\u0301 Maurice Njoume\u0301. Mai\u0308mouna \u00e9tait sa toute premi\u00e8re petite amie dont il \u00e9tait follement amoureux.<\/p>\n

Cette derni\u00e8re l\u2019avait accept\u00e9e malgr\u00e9\u0301 ses conditions de musicien d\u00e9brouillard. Un jour, cette derni\u00e8re \u00e9tait venue lui rendre visite, au moment de rentrer, celle-ci d\u00e9c\u00e9da dans un violent accident de circulation. Emport\u00e9 par la douleur et la tristesse, Maurice Njoume\u0301 compose cette chanson en hommage a\u0300 ce premier amour. Il y dit notamment ceci : \u201cDe toutes les femmes que j\u2019ai rencontr\u00e9es sur cette terre, ce n\u2019est que Mai\u0308mouna que j\u2019ai aim\u00e9e mais les mauvais anges me l\u2019ont enlev\u00e9e. Je vais te pleurer \u201cMai\u0308mouna\u201d, jusqu\u2019 a\u0300 la fin de mes jours\u201d.<\/p>\n

Notons que cette chanson a \u00e9t\u00e9 arrang\u00e9e par Toto Guillaume. On retrouve Aladji Tour\u00e9 \u00e0 la basse, Maurice Njoum\u00e9 him self aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Toguy.<\/p>\n

Cette chanson a fait fureur en cette ann\u00e9e 1989. Maurice Njoume est mort et est all\u00e9 retrouver Ma\u00efmouna. Toutes nos sinc\u00e8res condol\u00e9ances \u00e0 sa famille nucl\u00e9aire et artistique.<\/p>\n
