Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Dans la zone Cemac (Cameroun, Congo, Gabon, Tchad, RCA et Guin\u00e9e \u00e9quatoriale), le taux de croissance \u00e9conomique devrait s\u2019\u00e9tablir \u00e0 3,5% au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2022 et \u00e0 3,3% en 2023. Cette nouvelle pr\u00e9vision pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2022, en hausse de 0,4 point par rapport \u00e0 celle faite en mars 2022 (3,1%), a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e le 14 juillet dernier \u00e0 Douala. C\u2019\u00e9tait au sortir de la 2e session du Comit\u00e9 de politique mon\u00e9taire (CPM) de la banque centrale (Beac) des \u00c9tats de la Cemac, pour le compte de l\u2019exercice courant, tenue dans la capitale \u00e9conomique du Cameroun.<\/p>\n

En augmentation de 2 points par rapport au taux de 1,5% enregistr\u00e9 dans cet espace communautaire en 2021, cette pr\u00e9vision de croissance est \u00e0 mettre \u00ab\u2009principalement en relation avec l\u2019\u00e9volution favorable des termes de l\u2019\u00e9change de la Cemac (pouvoir d\u2019achat de biens et services import\u00e9s qu\u2019un pays d\u00e9tient gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses exportations, NDLR) et le dynamisme de tous les secteurs d\u2019activit\u00e9s\u2009\u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le CPM. Mais, au cours de la p\u00e9riode, l\u2019embellie ne se limitera pas \u00e0 la croissance \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

En effet, en dehors des tensions inflationnistes qui devraient s\u2019\u00e9tablir \u00e0 3,8% en 2022 (au-dessus du seuil de 3% admis par les crit\u00e8res de surveillance multilat\u00e9rale de la Cemac), en raison de la conjoncture internationale\u2009; la Beac pr\u00e9voit aussi une embellie au plan mon\u00e9taire. \u00ab\u2009(\u2026) Le taux de couverture ext\u00e9rieure de la monnaie remonterait \u00e0 74,4% en 2022, apr\u00e8s 64% en 2021, tandis que les r\u00e9serves de change cro\u00eetraient l\u00e9g\u00e8rement \u00e0 3,59 mois d\u2019importations de biens et services \u00e0 fin d\u00e9cembre 2022, contre 3,55 mois \u00e0 fin d\u00e9cembre 2021\u2009\u00bb, souligne le CPM, malgr\u00e9 la perde de la valeur du FCFA vis-\u00e0-vis du dollar (15% depuis le d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e)<\/p>\n

Fort de ces pr\u00e9visions optimistes, qui surviennent dans un environnement global plut\u00f4t marqu\u00e9 par \u00ab\u2009la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration progressive des perspectives \u00e9conomiques mondiales, en lien avec la guerre en Ukraine\u2009\u00bb, le CPM a maintenu inchang\u00e9s ses principaux taux directeurs (taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat appliqu\u00e9 par la banque centrale pour financer les banques commerciales).<\/p>\n
