La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Camerounaise de Football (FECAFOOT) l\u2019a annonc\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9 rendu public ce vendredi 5 ao\u00fbt 2022. \u00ab Le footballeur Bryan Mbeumo a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de jouer pour l\u2019\u00e9quipe nationale de football du Cameroun, les Lions indomptables \u00bb, peut-on lire dans le document sign\u00e9 du secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral par int\u00e9rim, Blaise Djounang.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019on apprend par ailleurs que le choix du joueur r\u00e9sulte de pourparlers concluants diligent\u00e9s par le pr\u00e9sident de la FECAFOOT en personne, Samuel Eto\u2019o Fils, qui a convaincu l\u2019ancien international U20 et U23 de France de jouer pour le pays de son p\u00e8re. \u00ab Cette d\u00e9cision qui r\u00e9sulte de l\u2019aboutissement des \u00e9changes nourris avec le pr\u00e9sident de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration, est motiv\u00e9e par la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e de la Fecafoot et le professionnalisme dans la gestion des s\u00e9lections nationales de football du Cameroun \u00bb, acquiesce la FECAFOOT.<\/p>\n<p>Il convient de pr\u00e9ciser que le natif d\u2019Avallon en France a s\u00e9journ\u00e9 au mois de juin dernier au Cameroun, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans la ville de Dschang (Ouest), d\u2019o\u00f9 est originaire son p\u00e8re.
