Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Dans un de ses r\u00e9cents rapports publi\u00e9s le 11 ao\u00fbt 2022, l\u2019organisation non-gouvernementale Human Rights Watch (HRW) accuse l\u2019arm\u00e9e camerounaise d\u2019avoir commis de nouvelles tueries dans la r\u00e9gion du Nord-Ouest dans le cadre de la crise anglophone. Et qu\u2019elle a tu\u00e9 au moins 1\u00e0 personnes, incendi\u00e9 12 maisons et proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au pillage des centres de sant\u00e9, lors d\u2019op\u00e9rations men\u00e9es entre le 24 avril et le 12 juin 2022, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans les localit\u00e9s de Belo, Chomba, Missong et Ndop.<\/p>\n

Le porte-parole de l\u2019Arm\u00e9e, le capitaine de vaisseau Cyrille Serge Atonfack Guemo<\/b>, a r\u00e9agi \u00e0 ce nouveau rapport, dans un communiqu\u00e9 rendu public dans la soir\u00e9e du mercredi 24 ao\u00fbt 2022. Il d\u00e9plore que cette ONG impute syst\u00e9matiquement l\u2019ensemble des exactions commises dans ces r\u00e9gions aux forces de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 : \u00ab HRW est connue pour son aversion contre les forces de d\u00e9fenses et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 camerounaise et sa logique qui consiste \u00e0 porter syst\u00e9matiquement au passif l\u2019arm\u00e9e camerounaise, les exactions signal\u00e9es dans les r\u00e9gions du Nord-Ouest et du Sud-Ouest, sur la base de pr\u00e9tendus t\u00e9moignages distill\u00e9s par des terroristes s\u00e9cessionnistes<\/b> \u00bb, d\u00e9clare-t-il.<\/p>\n

HRW accuse \u00e9galement l\u2019Etat camerounais d\u2019entretenir l\u2019impunit\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de forces de l\u2019ordre et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de ces forfaits. Le Directeur de la division de la Communication du minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense y apporte un d\u00e9menti formel : \u00ab le Cameroun \u00e9tant un Etat de droit, les proc\u00e9dures cons\u00e9cutives aux enqu\u00eates administratives et judiciaires d\u00e9clench\u00e9es suite \u00e0 ces incidents, comme \u00e0 chaque fois lorsque c\u2019est le cas, se poursuivent sereinement, conform\u00e9ment aux lois et r\u00e8glement en vigueur<\/b> \u00bb, ajoute-t-il.<\/p>\n

Le porte-parole de l\u2019arm\u00e9e juge, outre-mesure, provocante cette nouvelle sortie de HRW qui vise \u00e0 saper le moral des troupes engag\u00e9es sur plusieurs fronts. Il assure que \u00ab malgr\u00e9 cette \u00e9ni\u00e8me provocation de Human Rights Watch, les forces de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, dont le moral n\u2019est aucunement affect\u00e9, poursuivent sereinement leurs op\u00e9rations dans les quatre coins du pays, dans le respect des droits de l\u2019homme et droits humains, tout en veillant \u00e0 ce que tout \u00e9cart \u00e9tabli et v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 soit sanctionn\u00e9<\/b> \u00bb.<\/p>\n
