Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Selon le rapport du Comit\u00e9 de pilotage et de suivi des pipelines (CPSP), le droit de transit du p\u00e9trole tchadien sur le territoire camerounais, \u00e0 travers l\u2019ol\u00e9oduc construit entre les deux pays, a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 au Tr\u00e9sor public camerounais des recettes d\u2019un montant total de 18,6 milliards de FCFA entre janvier et juin 2022.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 en croire la m\u00eame source, cette enveloppe en hausse d\u2019un peu plus de 9% par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode en 2021, est le fruit de l\u2019enl\u00e8vement au terminal de Kome \u00e0 Kribi, dans la r\u00e9gion du Sud du Cameroun, d\u2019une cargaison totale de 22,76 millions de barils de p\u00e9trole brut produits dans les champs p\u00e9troliers du Tchad.<\/p>\n

Si le rythme de production du Tchad des six premiers mois de l\u2019ann\u00e9e est maintenu, le Cameroun pourrait bien, en fin d\u2019exercice 2022, engranger plus que les 31,46 milliards de FCFA obtenus au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2021. Selon le CPSP, c\u2019est l\u2019enveloppe g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re gr\u00e2ce au transit de 42,92 millions de barils de brut tchadien sur le territoire camerounais.<\/p>\n

Pour rappel, en 2013, apr\u00e8s avoir constat\u00e9 que cette redevance sur le passage du p\u00e9trole tchadien sur le territoire camerounais ne lui avait procur\u00e9 que 85,5 milliards de FCFA au cours des huit premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de fonctionnement du pipeline Tchad-Cameroun, soit en moyenne 10,7 milliards par an, le Cameroun avait entrepris de le ren\u00e9gocier.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s une rude bataille avec Cotco, l\u2019entreprise qui g\u00e8re l\u2019ol\u00e9oduc, le Cameroun avait alors pu obtenir la revalorisation puis l\u2019actualisation tous les 5 ans de cette redevance. Ce qui a permis, depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, d\u2019augmenter substantiellement les recettes du pays sur cette infrastructure de transport du brut provenant des champs p\u00e9troliers du Tchad.<\/p>\n

La derni\u00e8re actualisation de ce droit de transit, qui a conduit \u00e0 une nouvelle revalorisation, a eu lieu en 2018. La prochaine interviendra au mois de septembre 2023.<\/p>\n
