En effet le ministre des Travaux publics (Mintp), Emanuel Nganou Djoumessi, a sign\u00e9, ce 6 septembre, une instruction demandant \u00e0 ses collaborateurs de tenir compte des aspects li\u00e9s aux changements climatiques lors de l\u2019\u00e9laboration des dossiers d\u2019appel d\u2019offres.<\/p>\n

En attendant une \u00e9tude approfondie, il est question de revoir \u00e0 la hausse les coefficients de ruissellement et les p\u00e9riodes de retour de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9s ; int\u00e9grer le charriage des d\u00e9bris v\u00e9g\u00e9taux transport\u00e9s par les eaux lors du dimensionnement des ouvrages tels que les ponts, en augmentant la hauteur du tirant d\u2019air ; int\u00e9grer dans le dimensionnement hydraulique des ponts de la profondeur normale d\u2019affouillement r\u00e9sultant du d\u00e9bit, celle due \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de section du cours d\u2019eau et celle d\u2019affouillement local due \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence des appuis pour lutter contre les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes d\u2019affouillement (action de creusement des eaux), relever la ligne rouge au niveau des zones basses et de faible pente.<\/p>\n

Selon le Mintp, ces changements, qui devraient avoir un impact sur le co\u00fbt des infrastructures, se justifient par le contexte climatique actuel caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une augmentation de l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des pluies et un accroissement du ruissellement. Les cons\u00e9quences sont : une augmentation du d\u00e9bit des cours d\u2019eau, une diminution du tirant d\u2019air au niveau des ouvrages d\u2019art, un engorgement hydraulique des ouvrages, une augmentation des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes d\u2019affouillement au niveau des piles et les cul\u00e9es des ponts, des inondations r\u00e9currentes de la chauss\u00e9e dans les zones basses et de faibles pentes.<\/p>\n
