Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 mortellement agress\u00e9e \u00e0 coups de poignard par un assaillant non encore identifi\u00e9 alors qu\u2019elle s\u2019appr\u00eatait \u00e0 quitter le stationnement de l\u2019immeuble o\u00f9 elle s\u2019\u00e9tait r\u00e9fugi\u00e9e en compagnie de ses rejetons. Le site Internet journaldemontreal.com rapporte que <b>\u00ab le crime d\u2019une grande violence s\u2019est produit un peu avant 9 h, sur la rue des Oblats, dans l\u2019arrondissement de LaSalle \u00bb<\/b>. Selon des t\u00e9moignages d\u2019amies de la d\u00e9funte recueillis sur le lieu du drame <b>\u00ab le suspect aurait poignard\u00e9 sa victime \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, lui infligeant de tr\u00e8s graves blessures \u00bb.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La Jeune femme, arriv\u00e9e au Canada il y a 5 ans, venait d\u2019accoucher. Elle avait d\u00fb fuir son ancien mari, violent, il y a un an. <b>\u00ab La police de Montr\u00e9al, qui tente d\u2019\u00e9lucider le meurtre, aimerait maintenant retrouver l\u2019ancien conjoint de Mme Betondi, d\u2019autant plus qu\u2019il a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019objet d\u2019accusations de violence conjugale. Celui-ci, qui est le p\u00e8re des trois enfants de la dame, figure parmi les suspects, selon nos sources polici\u00e8res \u00bb<\/b>, \u00e9crit jounaldemontreal.com.<\/p>\n<p>Le journal en ligne fait \u00e9galement savoir que l\u2019homme, un Camerounais de 50 ans avait \u00e9t\u00e9 acquitt\u00e9 en juin, \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un proc\u00e8s lors duquel la victime avait t\u00e9moign\u00e9 pour la d\u00e9fense, selon le proc\u00e8s-verbal de l\u2019audience. <b>\u00ab L\u2019individu, qui ne fait pas l\u2019objet d\u2019accusation \u00e0 la suite du meurtre de jeudi, \u00e9tait de retour \u00e0 la cour le 31 ao\u00fbt, en lien avec des bris de conditions qu\u2019il aurait commis en janvier. Il lui \u00e9tait alors interdit de se trouver chez Mme Betondi, de s\u2019approcher d\u2019elle ou m\u00eame de communiquer avec elle. Or, il aurait bris\u00e9 ces trois conditions. Cet autre proc\u00e8s avait \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre prochain \u00bb<\/b>, apprend-on.<\/p>\n<p>Gis\u00e8le Itale Betondi a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crite comme une femme calme et r\u00e9serv\u00e9e par ses amies. <b>\u00ab Elle n\u2019avait pas de famille ici, mais faisait partie d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 religieuse tiss\u00e9e serr\u00e9e. Elle recevait de l\u2019aide de ses amies pour que son ex-conjoint ne puisse pas la trouver \u00bb<\/b>, lit-on.
