EDF et le Cameroun travaillent en collaboration pour cette initiative. L\u2019ide\u0301e, selon le gouvernement c\u2019est que, ce barrage soit un ve\u0301ritable po\u0302le de de\u0301veloppement, avec en amont une pratique intensive aquacole pour la valorisation du potentiel de la retenue d\u2019eau et en aval, la mise en place d\u2019agro-industries, tirant les opportunite\u0301s d\u2019irrigation offertes par le barrage.<\/p>\n<p>Dans une de\u0301marche visant a\u0300 faire de KIKOT un projet inte\u0301gre\u0301, Alamine Ousmane Mey et ses deux ho\u0302tes ont note\u0301 la ne\u0301cessite\u0301 de bitumer la voie d\u2019acce\u0300s au site du projet, et de de\u0301velopper le re\u0301seau routier pour le de\u0301senclavement de la zone du barrage. Les parties se donnent pour objectif de mobiliser au profit du barrage de KIKOT, les ressources de\u0301ja\u0300 tre\u0300s expe\u0301rimente\u0301es qui travaillent actuellement a\u0300 l\u2019ache\u0300vement du barrage Hydroe\u0301lectrique de Nachtigal.<\/p>\n<p>En plus des e\u0301changes sur le barrage de Kikot, les deux parties ont revisite\u0301 la coope\u0301ration que le Cameroun entretient avec EDF dans le domaine de l\u2019e\u0301nergie. Une coope\u0301ration qui se de\u0301ploie dans le domaine des Partenariats Public Prive\u0301 (PPP) identifie\u0301s dans la SND30 comme e\u0301tant de\u0301sormais la modalite\u0301 privile\u0301gie\u0301e de re\u0301alisation des projets d\u2019infrastructures.
