Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Selon le rapport sur les Comptes nationaux du Cameroun au premier trimestre 2022, que vient de publier l\u2019Institut national de la statistique (INS), l\u2019investissement public a chute\u0301 de 12,4% par rapport au trimestre pre\u0301ce\u0301dent. D\u2019ou\u0300 la une contribution ne\u0301gative de 0,3 point a\u0300 la croissance du PIB \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Me\u0302me si l\u2019INS ne donne pas de pourcentage, cette baisse s\u2019observerait aussi en glissement annuel. L\u2019institut rend en effet la contraction dans le secteur public responsable du ralentissement de l\u2019investissement global entre les premiers trimestres 2022 et 2021. Il s\u2019est contracte\u0301 de 6,7% entre les deux pe\u0301riodes.<\/p>\n

Dans son rapport, l\u2019INS n\u2019explique pas les raisons de cette contraction de l\u2019investissement public. Mais, elle peut e\u0302tre mise en lien avec le retard registre\u0301 dans l\u2019exe\u0301cution du budget public cette anne\u0301e. Selon les analyses du FMI, cette re\u0301alite\u0301 peut aussi s\u2019expliquer par la re\u0301orientation de certains financements initialement destine\u0301s a\u0300 l\u2019investissement public vers la subvention des produits pe\u0301troliers. L\u2019enveloppe de cette de\u0301pense a explose\u0301 du fait notamment de la guerre en Ukraine. Elle est aujourd\u2019hui projete\u0301e a\u0300 780 milliards de FCFA en 2022.<\/p>\n

\u00ab L\u2019impact de la hausse des prix internationaux du pe\u0301trole sur le budget est mitige\u0301. Car, l\u2019augmentation des recettes pe\u0301trolie\u0300res est plus que compense\u0301e par une hausse substantielle des subventions aux carburants (estime\u0301es a\u0300 2,9 pour cent du PIB, contre 0,5 pour cent en 2021) visant a\u0300 maintenir inchange\u0301s les prix de de\u0301tail administre\u0301s des carburants. L\u2019augmentation du cou\u0302t des subventions est donc compense\u0301e par la re\u0301duction d\u2019autres de\u0301penses, notamment celles consacre\u0301es aux projets d\u2019investissement \u00bb, a fait savoir l\u2019institution de Bretton Woods aux autorite\u0301s camerounaises. C\u2019e\u0301tait a\u0300 l\u2019occasion des consultations conduites dans le pays du 15 au 29 juin 2022, au titre de la 2e revue du programme e\u0301conomique et financier en cours avec le Cameroun.<\/p>\n
