Pre\u0300s d\u2019un an apre\u0300s sa cre\u0301ation, la compagnie ae\u0301rienne a enfin obtenu sa licence d\u2019exploitation selon une correspondance de la DG de l\u2019Autorite\u0301 Ae\u0301ronautique nationale, Paule Assomo Koki transmise a\u0300 l\u2019ASECNA et dont nous avons rec\u0327u une copie.<\/p>\n

L\u2019obtention de ce se\u0301same est le pre\u0301alable au lancement effectif dans les six mois, des ope\u0301rations de cette nouvelle compagnie ae\u0301rienne porte\u0301e par des investisseurs nationaux et qui vise dans un premier temps a\u0300 desservir les principaux ae\u0301roports du pays au moyen de 2 avions de type Embraer re\u0301cemment acquis.<\/p>\n

Le premier avion Embraer ERJ-145 est un appareil de 49 sie\u0300ges. Un deuxie\u0300me appareil avec les me\u0302mes caracte\u0301ristiques, msn 145178 est dans la flotte et un troisie\u0300me est attendu.<\/p>\n

Zejet a manifeste\u0301 son inte\u0301re\u0302t pour desservir les routes les plus populaires du pays, notamment entre Douala, Yaounde\u0301, Garoua et Maroua. La compagnie ae\u0301rienne vise a\u0300 servir les voyageurs d\u2019affaires et les professionnels qui cherchent a\u0300 voyager entre les grandes villes pour le travail, ainsi que les voyageurs e\u0301tudiants.<\/p>\n

Zejet arrive dans un contexte ou\u0300, selon le ministe\u0300re des Transports, le trafic ae\u0301rien domestique au Cameroun a baisse\u0301. Entre 2019 et 2020 le trafic domestique a connu une baisse du nombre de passagers, passant de 329 781 a\u0300 104 295 passagers, soit une baisse de 225 486, re\u0301ve\u0300le l\u2019annuaire 2021 du ministe\u0300re des Transports (Mint) rendu public il y a quelques mois.<\/p>\n

Le ministe\u0300re des Transports fait e\u0301galement savoir que pour l\u2019anne\u0301e 2020, 51% du trafic e\u0301tait international, 23% transit, 15% domestique et 14% sous re\u0301gional. \u00ab La fre\u0301quence du trafic international, domestique, sous re\u0301gional et des transits avec une forte domination du trafic international au de\u0301triment du trafic re\u0301gional presque inexistant \u00bb. C\u2019est cette niche \u00ab presque inexistante \u00bb que Zejet va devoir explorer.<\/p>\n

Pour me\u0301moire, en plus de Camair-Co, la compagnie ae\u0301rienne nationale, il est a\u0300 noter que 13 autres compagnies ope\u0300rent sur les diffe\u0301rentes places ae\u0301roportuaires du pays.<\/p>\n
