Ces entreprises de l\u2019agroalimentaires ont expe\u0301die\u0301 par fret ae\u0301rien chacune 38,6 kg de the\u0301 camerounais<\/b> vers ce pays d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest, au tarif pre\u0301fe\u0301rentiel de la Zlecaf.<\/p>\n

Sur les 44 pays qui ont de\u0301ja\u0300 ratifie\u0301 l\u2019Accord de libre-e\u0301change continental<\/b>, sept pays ont de\u0301cide\u0301 de lancer, ce jour, le commerce pre\u0301fe\u0301rentiel au titre de la Zlecaf sur des produits pour lesquels les re\u0300gles d\u2019origine sont conclues (quasiment tous les produits a\u0300 l\u2019exception du sucre, du textile-habillement et de l\u2019industrie automobile). Il s\u2019agit du Cameroun, du Ghana, du Rwanda, du Kenya, de l\u2019i\u0302le Maurice, de l\u2019E\u0301gypte et de la Tanzanie.<\/p>\n

Selon le ministe\u0300re du Commerce, au regard des contraintes lie\u0301es au fonctionnement des unions douanie\u0300res, dont l\u2019une des particularite\u0301s est que les membres ont en commun un tarif douanier exte\u0301rieur commun, le Cameroun s\u2019est associe\u0301 aux 5 autres pays d\u2019Afrique centrale (le Congo, le Gabon, la Guine\u0301e e\u0301quatoriale, la Re\u0301publique centrafricaine et le Tchad) qui forment la Cemac pour e\u0301laborer de manie\u0300re consensuelle cette offre tarifaire.<\/p>\n

Entre\u0301e the\u0301oriquement en vigueur le 1er janvier 2021, la Zlecaf<\/b> vise a\u0300 booster les e\u0301changes commerciaux intra-africains. Il y a de\u0301ja\u0300 eu 54 signatures (seule l\u2019E\u0301rythre\u0301e n\u2019a pas encore signe\u0301) par les E\u0301tats africains et 44 ratifications. Avec sa population de 1,2 milliard d\u2019habitants, l\u2019Afrique est en effet la deuxie\u0300me plus grande zone e\u0301conomie au monde, derrie\u0300re la Chine.<\/p>\n
