Selon les donne\u0301es de l\u2019Indice composite des cours des produits de base (ICPPB) publie\u0301 par la Beac, la banque centrale des pays de la Cemac, le Cameroun a assure\u0301 a\u0300 lui tout seul 73,4% de cette production, soit pre\u0300s de 350 000 tonnes en valeur absolue. Contre 123 100 tonnes pour le Tchad (26,4%) et seulement 1 300 tonnes pour la RCA (0,3%).<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Au Cameroun, comme depuis plusieurs anne\u0301es, la majeure partie de la fibre issue de cette production de coton-graine est exporte\u0301e vers les pays d\u2019Asie, notamment la Chine avec 38% des exportations de ce produit de rente, suivis par le Bangladesh, le Vietnam ou encore l\u2019Indone\u0301sie \u00bb, apprend-on.<\/p>\n<p>A\u0300 en croire les donne\u0301es de l\u2019Institut national de la statistique (INS), la Chine est le principal client du Cameroun depuis quelques anne\u0301es. En 2019, par exemple, ce pays d\u2019Asie a accueilli 18,4% (22% en 2018) des exportations camerounaises, contre respectivement 12,2% et 11% pour l\u2019Italie et l\u2019Inde, qui comple\u0300tent le trio des clients du Cameroun.<\/p>\n<p>Cette anne\u0301e-la\u0300, de\u0301taille l\u2019INS, les produits camerounais exporte\u0301s vers la Chine e\u0301taient essentiellement constitue\u0301s des huiles brutes de pe\u0301trole (56,7%), du gaz naturel lique\u0301fie\u0301 (23,6%), du bois brut (9,1%), du bois scie\u0301 (5,2%) et du coton brut (3,4%).
