Depuis dimanche 20 novembre 2022, les automobilistes font face a\u0300 nouveau a\u0300 une pe\u0301nurie de carburant. \u00ab J\u2019ai tourne\u0301 une heure de temps dans la ville ce matin, il n\u2019y a pas de carburant dans la ville \u00bb, a de\u0301clare\u0301 un chauffeur d\u2019e\u0301tablissement scolaire ce 22 novembre 2022. Co\u0302te\u0301 gouvernement, aucune information concernant cette nouvelle pe\u0301nurie<\/b> n\u2019a encore e\u0301te\u0301 mentionne\u0301e.<\/p>\n

Il y a quatre mois, le Cameroun a souffert du manque de carburant. Pour juguler dans l\u2019imme\u0301diat cette pe\u0301nurie, 62 500 me\u0300tres cube de produits pe\u0301troliers, 88 000 me\u0300tres cube de Gasoil et 35 000 me\u0300tres cube de Super avaient e\u0301te\u0301 importe\u0301s par l\u2019E\u0301tat.<\/p>\n

123 000 me\u0300tres cube d\u2019hydrocarbures<\/b> e\u0301taient en cours d\u2019acheminement avait indique\u0301 le gouvernement. Apre\u0300s les carburants, les me\u0301nages ont fait face a\u0300 une pe\u0301nurie de Gaz domestique e\u0301galement.<\/p>\n

Subvention <\/b><\/p>\n

Pourtant, le maintien du prix a\u0300 la pompe cou\u0302te de plus en cher au Tre\u0301sor public<\/b>. Dans un contexte international marque\u0301 par la flambe\u0301e des produits pe\u0301troliers, l\u2019E\u0301tat du Cameroun a subventionne\u0301 la consommation des produits pe\u0301troliers a\u0300 hauteur de 108 milliards de FCFA pour le seul mois de juillet, anne\u0301e courante.<\/p>\n

Concre\u0300tement, pour chaque litre de produits pe\u0301troliers vendus sur le territoire camerounais en juillet 2022, \u00ab l\u2019E\u0301tat a pris en charge 638 FCFA pour le super, 780 FCFA pour le gasoil et 749 FCFA pour le pe\u0301trole lampant \u00bb, a explique\u0301 Gaston Eloundou Essomba.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Il convient de rappeler a\u0300 cet e\u0301gard que les pre\u0301visions budge\u0301taires de l\u2019exercice 2022 pour la couverture des subventions des produits pe\u0301troliers e\u0301taient de 120 milliards de FCFA. Apre\u0300s le collectif budge\u0301taire, ce montant est passe\u0301 a\u0300 480 milliards de FCFA, largement en dec\u0327a\u0300 des 780 milliards de FCFA de subvention projete\u0301e pour toute l\u2019anne\u0301e 2022. Il n\u2019est pas inutile de relever que si la crise russo-ukrainienne persiste, ce montant pourrait e\u0302tre revu a\u0300 la hausse \u00bb, a-t-il pre\u0301cise\u0301.<\/p>\n

Depuis l\u2019incident de la Sonara en 2019, le Cameroun importe la totalite\u0301 des produits pe\u0301troliers<\/b> finis consomme\u0301s sur son territoire. Ce qui expose le pays aux fluctuations des cours sur le marche\u0301 international.<\/p>\n
