Les pre\u0301cautions prises pour e\u0301viter les pe\u0301nuries et mai\u0302triser l\u2019inflation galopante sur le marche\u0301 a\u0300 quelques semaines des fe\u0302tes de fin d\u2019anne\u0301e ont fait l\u2019objet de de\u0301bat au cours du Conseil de cabinet du mois de novembre. Le gouvernement sous la conduite du Premier ministre Joseph Dion Ngute s\u2019est re\u0301uni jeudi 24 novembre 2022. Au sortir de ce conclave, le ministre du Commerce tente d\u2019assurer l\u2019opinion.<\/p>\n

Nous ne sommes pas encore a\u0300 ce stade de 45 jours avant Noe\u0308l (…) La disponibilite\u0301 sera au rendez-vous. Regardez de fac\u0327on objective. Il n\u2019y a pas de pe\u0301nurie spe\u0301cifique dans notre marche\u0301. Il peut y avoir de temps en temps des accidents \u00bb, rassure Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana.<\/p>\n

Cependant, me\u0302me si les produits sont en quantite\u0301 suffisante et en qualite\u0301, le ve\u0301ritable souci est qu\u2019ils ne sont pas a\u0300 la porte\u0301e des Camerounais moyens. L\u2019inflation qui se\u0301vit depuis la fin de l\u2019anne\u0301e 2021 va grandissante. Les prix n\u2019arre\u0302tent pas de grimper sur le marche\u0301, si bien que le panier de la me\u0301nage\u0300re peine a\u0300 se remplir de moitie\u0301. Tous les produits ont connu une augmentation du prix alors que les salaires et autres re\u0301mune\u0301rations restent fixes quand ils ne re\u0301gressent pas.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, la pe\u0301riode de fe\u0302tes de fin d\u2019anne\u0301e est aussi connue comme favorisant l\u2019envol des prix sur le marche\u0301. Les commerc\u0327ants ve\u0301reux profitent de l\u2019impunite\u0301, de l\u2019absence de l\u2019administration du commerce sur le terrain pour augmenter les prix des produits. Le vrai combat se trouve ainsi dans la mai\u0302trise de l\u2019inflation.<\/p>\n
