Et comment expliquer que, pluto\u0302t que de jouer pour la se\u0301lection de leur pays d\u2019origine, tant de footballeurs talentueux d\u2019origine africaine pre\u0301fe\u0300rent leur \u00ab autre pays \u00bb ou patrie d\u2019adoption ? Que faire, pour que ceux qui choisissent de jouer sous le maillot d\u2019une nation africaine trouvent un cadre propice, pour rehausser le niveau des se\u0301lections africaines ?<\/b>
\nAvec sa victoire sur le Qatar, le Se\u0301ne\u0301gal semble s\u2019e\u0302tre quelque peu rassure\u0301. Peut-on, du coup, estimer qu\u2019elles sont exage\u0301re\u0301es, les inquie\u0301tudes quant aux chances des e\u0301quipes africaines de se qualifier a\u0300 l\u2019issue de la phase de groupe ?<\/b><\/p>\n

Chaque Africain, d\u2019ou\u0300 qu\u2019il soit, vibre pour chacune des e\u0301quipes africaines pre\u0301sentes au Qatar. Tous souffrent avec les joueurs, lorsque ceux-ci balbutient leur football. Mais, a\u0300 peine les Se\u0301ne\u0301galais avaient-ils commence\u0301 a\u0300 savourer cette victoire que le match entre les Pays-Bas et l\u2019E\u0301quateur nous propulsait a\u0300 un autre niveau. Les Pays-Bas, qui ont pourtant battu le Se\u0301ne\u0301gal, ont e\u0301volue\u0301 en-dessous de l\u2019E\u0301quateur. Me\u0302me en rehaussant conside\u0301rablement son jeu, le Se\u0301ne\u0301gal pourra difficilement re\u0301sister a\u0300 cet E\u0301quateur-la\u0300. Nous parlons juste de lucidite\u0301.<\/p>\n

Quant au Cameroun, face au Bre\u0301sil ou a\u0300 la Serbie, quelle angoisse ! Les rendez-vous du Ghana, du Maroc et de la Tunisie sont tout aussi inquie\u0301tants. Les de\u0301sillusions qui guettent l\u2019Afrique dans cette Coupe du monde commandent une re\u0301flexion de fond. Les meilleures nations de football comptent presque toutes dans leurs effectifs de bons footballeurs d\u2019origine africaine. Si les se\u0301lections africaines paraissent si faibles, ce n\u2019est donc pas parce que les Africains sont incapables de faire du bon football. Au contraire ! Il faudra juste que les dirigeants du football africain s\u2019interrogent sur les raisons pour lesquelles leurs fe\u0301de\u0301rations nationales re\u0301vulsent tant de footballeurs parmi les meilleurs originaires de leur pays. Pourquoi ils pre\u0301fe\u0300rent l\u2019Allemagne, la France, la Sue\u0300de (me\u0302me la Sue\u0300de !), l\u2019Australie (vous imaginez, l\u2019Australie !), les Pays-Bas. Et, enfin, pourquoi, sous le maillot d\u2019une nation africaine, le peu que les autres leur laissent n\u2019est pas mis en condition pour… simplement briller.<\/p>\n
