Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Selon les informations du Comite\u0301 de pilotage et de suivi des pipelines (CPSP), le Cameroun a encaisse\u0301 34,04 milliards de FCFA au titre de droit de transit sur le pipeline Tchad-Cameroun a\u0300 fin octobre 2022, contre 26,9 milliards au cours de la me\u0302me pe\u0301riode en 2021, soit une augmentation de 26,5%.<\/p>\n

Selon la me\u0302me source, cette hausse de recettes est \u00ab surtout \u00bb lie\u0301e a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301volution favorable du taux de change du dollar US. D\u2019un taux de change du dollar a\u0300 588,5 FCFA au de\u0301but de l\u2019anne\u0301e 2022, le billet vert vaut aujourd\u2019hui plus de 640 FCFA. En effet, selon la Banque mondiale, le dollar ame\u0301ricain a le vent en poupe : il s\u2019est appre\u0301cie\u0301 d\u2019environ 11% depuis le de\u0301but de l\u2019anne\u0301e et a atteint, pour la premie\u0300re fois en vingt ans, la parite\u0301 avec l\u2019euro.<\/p>\n

Cette hausse des recettes encaisse\u0301es par le Cameroun au titre de droit de transit est lie\u0301e l\u2019e\u0301volution positive du nombre barils de pe\u0301trole enleve\u0301s au terminal Kome\u0301-Kribi. Au 31 octobre 2022, 38,6 millions de barils de pe\u0301trole ont e\u0301te\u0301 enleve\u0301s a\u0300 ce terminal, contre 37,1 millions de barils au cours de la me\u0302me pe\u0301riode en 2021, soit une hausse de 4%. Ceci re\u0301sultant de l\u2019ame\u0301lioration des quantite\u0301s transporte\u0301es pour le compte de nouveaux expe\u0301diteurs.<\/p>\n

Gigantesque infrastructure de transport du pe\u0301trole brut produit au Tchad, en vue de son exportation a\u0300 partir du terminal de Kome a\u0300 Kribi, dans le sud du Cameroun, le pipeline Tchad-Cameroun a e\u0301te\u0301 officiellement mis en service le 3 octobre 2003. Long de plus de 1000 km, cet ole\u0301oduc a e\u0301te\u0301 finance\u0301 par la Banque mondiale et un consortium de firmes pe\u0301trolie\u0300res constitue\u0301 par Exxon-Mobil, Petronas et Chevron-Texaco.<\/p>\n

Au cours des huit premie\u0300res anne\u0301es de fonctionnement du pipeline, le Cameroun s\u2019est contente\u0301 d\u2019un droit de transit d\u2019un montant total de 85,5 milliards de FCFA, a\u0300 en croire les statistiques re\u0301ve\u0301le\u0301es en 2012 par le CPSP, que pre\u0301side Adolphe Moudiki, le directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de la Socie\u0301te\u0301 nationale des hydrocarbures (SNH). De\u0301sormais, ce droit de transit est actualise\u0301 tous les 5 ans. La dernie\u0300re actualisation, qui a conduit a\u0300 une nouvelle revalorisation, a eu lieu en 2018, et la prochaine interviendra en septembre 2023.<\/p>\n
