Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>After his invitation to the Doha Economic Forum in June 2022, the Togolese Head of State Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe\u0301 was also invited to the World Cup final in Doha last Sunday, he took the opportunity to speak on the tournament and the relationship between his country and Qatar.<\/b><\/p>\n

Faure Gnassingbe\u0301 spoke of the convergence of views with His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and the common will of the two leaders to implement a real joint policy to strengthen bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n

The President of the Republic was delighted with the quality of the exchanges with the Emir of Qatar and the good prospects for diversifying the areas of partnership. \u201cWe are on the right track to enrich and consolidate cooperative relations in various fields between the two countries in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, he praised the \u201cgood organization\u201d by Qatar of the 22nd edition of the football world cup, with ultramodern sports infrastructures. He welcomed the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the people of the region who were strongly mobilized, thus reflecting their support for this competition.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cthis world sporting event offered the opportunity to the whole world to discover the splendor and the values \u200b\u200bof Arab culture\u201d. He welcomed the mixing of peoples in mutual respect which contributes to the construction of peaceful societies.<\/p>\n

Faure also took the opportunity of Qatar\u2019s National Day to express his wishes for peace, prosperity and development to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the Qatari people.<\/p>\n
