Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Le Conseil d\u2019administration de cette institution de Bretton Woods vient d\u2019approuver la 3e revue de son programme e\u0301conomique et financier avec le Cameroun. Cette approbation est aussi un accord pour un nouveau de\u0301caissement d\u2019un montant de 45 milliards de FCFA en faveur du Cameroun, au titre d\u2019appui budge\u0301taire apre\u0300s avoir augmente\u0301 les prix des carburants.<\/p>\n

Selon le ministe\u0300re de l\u2019Economie, \u00ab cette enveloppe porte a\u0300 plus de 240 milliards de FCFA le total des appuis du Fonds au titre de ce programme depuis 2021 et va de\u0301clencher le versement des contributions des autres partenaires techniques et financiers \u00bb.<\/p>\n

A en croire, Investir au Cameroun, cette de\u0301cision n\u2019est pas une surprise. Car a\u0300 l\u2019issue d\u2019une mission du FMI qui a se\u0301journe\u0301 a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301 du 5 au 18 janvier 2023 et des re\u0301unions virtuelles tenues du 19 au 27 janvier 2023, les services du FMI et les autorite\u0301s camerounaises e\u0301taient de\u0301ja\u0300 parvenus a\u0300 un accord sur les politiques e\u0301conomiques pour conclure la troisie\u0300me revue. Et comme il s\u2019e\u0301tait engage\u0301, le Cameroun a augmente\u0301 les prix des carburants a\u0300 la pompe de\u0300s le 1er fe\u0301vrier.<\/p>\n

Cette troisie\u0300me revue intervient e\u0301galement a\u0300 quelques jours de l\u2019arrive\u0301e au Cameroun du Directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral adjoint du Fonds mone\u0301taire international, rapporte le Journal du Cameroun.<\/p>\n
