L\u2019axe routier Garoua-N\u2019Gaounde\u0301re\u0301, en piteux e\u0301tat en ce moment, devrait e\u0302tre re\u0301habilite\u0301. 134 milliards de Fcfa. C\u2019est le montant que projette injecter le Fonds saoudien de de\u0301veloppement (FSD) pour la re\u0301habilitation de la section Garoua-N\u2019Gaounde\u0301re\u0301 de la nationale N\u00b01 reliant la re\u0301gion du Nord a\u0300 celle de l\u2019Adamaoua. Les travaux vont s\u2019e\u0301tendre sur un line\u0301aire de 240,9 km entre les villes de Garoua et N\u2019Gaounde\u0301re\u0301.<\/p>\n

Le projet a e\u0301te\u0301 pre\u0301sente\u0301 le mardi 11 avril 2023, au cours d\u2019une audience accorde\u0301e a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301 par le ministre des Travaux publics (Mintp), Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi a\u0300 une mission du Fonds saoudien de de\u0301veloppement en visite de travail au Cameroun.<\/p>\n

A en croire Ecomatin, le cou\u0302t global des travaux lie\u0301s a\u0300 ce projet routier est estime\u0301 a\u0300 269,125 milliards de Fcfa. Il sera divise\u0301 en 3 lots : le lot 1 Ngaounde\u0301re\u0301-Gang qui couvre un line\u0301aire de 13,4 km ; le lot 2 Bas de la falaise-pont de ke\u0301roua au pont de Salah couvre quant a\u0300 lui 77 km et enfin le lot 3, Pont de Salah-pont sur la Benoue\u0301 112 km.<\/p>\n

Une fois acheve\u0301, le projet partie inte\u0301grante du corridor Douala-Ndjamena contribuera a\u0300 la facilitation des e\u0301changes, l\u2019ame\u0301lioration de la circulation des personnes, des marchandises et des services, car il reve\u0302t d\u2019une grande importance pour la liaison entre les deux pays. Selon la Banque mondiale, ledit corridor \u00ab concentre 35% du PIB de ces deux pays \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le Fonds saoudien de de\u0301veloppement n\u2019est pas a\u0300 son premier appui financier au Cameroun. Pour preuve, il a contribue\u0301 a\u0300 la re\u0301alisation de plusieurs projets au Cameroun. On peut noter entre autres : la construction de la route Douala-Yaounde\u0301 ; le chemin de fer Ese\u0301ka-Maloume\u0301 ; l\u2019universite\u0301 de Ngaounde\u0301re\u0301 ; la Sode\u0301ble\u0301 a\u0300 Wassande\u0301 ; la route Ayos-Bonis.<\/p>\n
