Sans reprise aucune, Marcel Niat Njifenji, seul candidat a\u0300 sa propre succession, vient d\u2019e\u0302tre re\u0301e\u0301lu pre\u0301sident du bureau du Se\u0301nat. Tout premier pre\u0301sident de l\u2019histoire du Se\u0301nat depuis 2013, le se\u0301nateur nomme\u0301 a obtenu ce jour 97 suffrages exprime\u0301s en sa faveur contre un bulletin nul, sur 98 votants. L\u2019e\u0301lection a eu lieu ce mercredi 19 avril 2023 a\u0300 l\u2019he\u0301micycle provisoire du Palais des Congre\u0300s de Yaounde\u0301. Le renouvellement du bureau se tient dans le cadre de la session ordinaire de plein droit ouverte le 11 avril dernier, apre\u0300s les e\u0301lections se\u0301natoriales du 12 mars.<\/p>\n

A l\u2019observation, le nouveau mandat d\u2019un an au perchoir du pre\u0301sident du Se\u0301nat vient juste d\u2019e\u0302tre confirme\u0301. Le 27 mars dernier, lors de la toute dernie\u0300re session ordinaire des se\u0301nateurs de la 2e\u0300 le\u0301gislature, Marcel Niat Njifenji a e\u0301te\u0301 re\u0301e\u0301lu a\u0300 la te\u0302te du Se\u0301nat<\/b>. Sa nomination par le chef de l\u2019Etat le 31 mars dernier dans la liste des 30 se\u0301nateurs donne le premier signe de sa conservation a\u0300 la te\u0302te du bureau de Chambre.<\/p>\n

Durant les dix dernie\u0300res anne\u0301es, le successeur constitutionnel du chef de l\u2019Etat dirige le Se\u0301nat. Durant l\u2019anne\u0301e le\u0301gislative 2023, il va conduire la Chambre haute du Parlement, lequel repre\u0301sente les 360 communes, les 14 communaute\u0301s urbaines et les 10 re\u0301gions du pays dans le cadre de la de\u0301centralisation. Il sera seconde\u0301 par le premier vice-pre\u0301sident, le se\u0301nateur Aboubakary Abdoulaye.<\/p>\n
