Les tentatives ante\u0301rieures de Tsimi Evouna pour re\u0301soudre ce diffe\u0301rend ont e\u0301choue\u0301, tout comme celles de son successeur, Luc Messi Atangana, qui a somme\u0301 les agences de voyages de libe\u0301rer les lieux en de\u0301cembre 2021. Malheureusement, l’ope\u0301ration \u00ab\u00a0coup de poing\u00a0\u00bb visant a\u0300 apposer des sabots sur les bus n’a pas re\u0301ussi.<\/p>\n

Dans un communique\u0301 date\u0301 du 18 avril 2023, le maire de la ville a annonce\u0301 que les proprie\u0301taires et exploitants des agences de voyages qui ope\u0300rent a\u0300 la sortie Nord de Yaounde\u0301 devront libe\u0301rer les lieux et s’installer sur le site de la plateforme multimodale d’Olembe\u0301 d’ici le 30 mai 2023. Cette de\u0301cision vise a\u0300 lutter contre le de\u0301sordre urbain et a\u0300 assainir l’environnement. A\u0300 partir du 31 mai 2023, les voyageurs habitue\u0301s a\u0300 prendre les bus et les autocars a\u0300 Etoudi, Tongolo ou Emana dans l\u2019arrondissement de Yaounde\u0301 1er devront se rendre a\u0300 Olembe\u0301 pour embarquer vers leurs diffe\u0301rentes destinations.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le Maire de la Ville de Yaounde\u0301 informe tous les proprie\u0301taires et exploitants des agences de voyage qui exercent sur la sortie Nord de la Ville, notamment le long des axes Tongolo, Mballa II \u2014 Etoudi, Emana-Messassi Olembe, qu’ils doivent regagner le site de la Plateforme Multimodale d’Olembe\u0301 au plus tard le 30 mai 2023. Faute pour eux de s’exe\u0301cuter dans le de\u0301lai ainsi prescrit, les sites qu’ils exploitent actuellement seront scelle\u0301s et leurs ve\u0301hicules syste\u0301matiquement conduits a\u0300 la Fourrie\u0300re Municipale. Il de\u0301cline, par ailleurs, la responsabilite\u0301 de sa municipalite\u0301 relativement aux de\u0301sagre\u0301ments auxquels s’exposeraient les re\u0301calcitrants, notamment le sort des ve\u0301hicules concerne\u0301s \u00bb, indique le communique\u0301<\/p>\n

La situation est tendue entre le maire de la ville et les responsables des agences de voyages d’Etoudi, Tongolo et Emana, et cela pourrait conduire a\u0300 une escalade de conflit.<\/p>\n
