A cette occasion, le Pr\u00e9sident Paul Biya a publi\u00e9 sur sa page Facebook et son compte Twitter un message dans lequel il appelle \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre du th\u00e8me de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nement.<\/p>\n

\u00abAyons \u00e0 l\u2019esprit le th\u00e8me de la f\u00eate du 20 Mai 2021:<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2018\u2018Arm\u00e9e et nation : Ensemble pour relever les d\u00e9fis de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sanitaire et pr\u00e9server la paix, la stabilit\u00e9 et la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 du Cameroun\u2019\u2019.<\/b><\/p>\n

En raison du COVID-19 le Chef de l\u2019Etat a d\u00e9cid\u00e9, comme l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, de l\u2019annulation de toutes les manifestations officielles li\u00e9es \u00e0 cette f\u00eate.<\/p>\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 le 18 mai, le Secr\u00e9taire G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Comit\u00e9 Central du RDPC appelle les militants de ce parti au pouvoir \u00e0 \u00abdonner l\u2019exemple du respect de la d\u00e9cision du Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique en continuant \u00e0 se conformer rigoureusement aux prescriptions gouvernementales dans la lutte et la pr\u00e9vention contre la pand\u00e9mie et \u00e0 les observer scrupuleusement\u00bb.<\/p>\n
