\u2022Le 20 mai est une source des tensions au Cameroun selon Essomna<\/p>\n

Ardent d\u00e9fenseur de l\u2019Etat f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, Dieudonn\u00e9 Essomba a publi\u00e9 une tribune ce 20 mai 2021 pour d\u00e9noncer la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la f\u00eate de l\u2019Unit\u00e9 nationale. La date du 20 mai 1961 loin d\u2019\u00eatre celle de l\u2019unit\u00e9 marque la suppression de l\u2019Etat f\u00e9d\u00e9ral au Cameroun selon l\u2019\u00e9conomiste. Il milite d\u00e9sormais pour la cessation de cette c\u00e9l\u00e9bration.<\/p>\n

Voici l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de la tribune de Dieudonn\u00e9 Essomba<\/p>\n

L\u2019unit\u00e9 nationale n\u2019est pas l\u2019Etat unitaire : l\u2019Allemagne f\u00e9d\u00e9rale n\u2019est pas moins unie que la France unitaire. Il faut d\u00e9finitivement sortir de cette grossi\u00e8re assimilation, cet abominable mensonge qui nous d\u00e9truit et nous ronge comme un cancer.<\/p>\n

La F\u00eate du 20 mai n\u2019est pas la F\u00eate de l\u2018Unit\u00e9, mais l\u2019anniversaire de la suppression de l\u2019Etat F\u00e9d\u00e9ral n\u00e9 en 1961, ce qui est bien autre chose. Et cette F\u00eate est devenue un v\u00e9ritable ulc\u00e8re sur le corps de la Nation par o\u00f9 s\u2019\u00e9goutte tout notre sang. Il faut d\u00e9finitivement mettre fin \u00e0 cette manifestation qui est l\u2019incarnation absolue de la discorde.<\/p>\n

Un peuple lucide ne peut pas maintenir une F\u00eate qui est la source d\u2019une guerre civile aussi sanglante. On ne peut pas du c\u00f4t\u00e9 francophone, pr\u00e9tendre f\u00eater un \u00e9v\u00e9nement soi-disant d\u2019unit\u00e9 nationale, alors que du c\u00f4t\u00e9 anglophone, les armes cr\u00e9pitent au nom de cette m\u00eame unit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Que f\u00eate-t-on alors ? Quelle est cette esp\u00e8ce d\u2019unit\u00e9 qui cr\u00e9e la d\u00e9sunion ?
\nLa F\u00eate du 20 mai doit \u00eatre d\u00e9finitivement disqualifi\u00e9e. Le Cameroun doit rentrer \u00e0 l\u2019Etat F\u00e9d\u00e9ral, \u00e9ventuellement r\u00e9actualis\u00e9, afin que la guerre cesse. Car, il n\u2019existe aucun cas de figure pour lequel les Anglophones rentreront un jour dans l\u2019Etat unitaire.
\nIl ne sert absolument \u00e0 rien d\u2019insister. L\u2019Etat unitaire, c\u2019est termin\u00e9 au Cameroun, du moins avec les Anglophones. Cela doit \u00eatre compris et bien compris.
\nLe Cameroun peut sauver son unit\u00e9, mais personne ne peut plus sauver l\u2019Etat unitaire.
