\u2022Cette variante a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte d’abord en Afrique centrale dont au Cameroun.<\/p>\n

\u2022Pr\u00e8s de 78 000 Camerounais ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 infect\u00e9s par la Covid-19 depuis le d\u00e9but de la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n

Des \u00e9quipes de chercheurs de l’Universit\u00e9 lituanienne de Vilnius d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es un peu partout en Afrique et dans le monde ont d\u00e9couvert une nouvelle variante de la Covid-19 au Cameroun et d’autres pays frontaliers au Cameroun.<\/p>\n

Cette nouvelle variante ne se trouve pas qu’au Cameroun. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e en France, en Allemagne, en Espagne et en Belgique.<\/p>\n

Selon l’auteur de la recherche, Gytis Dudas, cette variante pr\u00e9sente des mutations communes \u00e0 celles d\u00e9j\u00e0 identifi\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment et qui doivent donc \u00eatre analys\u00e9es avec la plus grande attention. La revue Science r\u00e9v\u00e8le que cette cette nouvelle mutation serait originaire d’Afrique centrale et se d\u00e9velopperait ensuite dans des pays plut\u00f4t pauvres comme l’Indon\u00e9sie et le Br\u00e9sil, pour finalement atteindre la Russie et le c\u0153ur de l’Europe.<\/p>\n

Selon des derni\u00e8res mises \u00e0 jours, 77\u202f733 personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9es positives au coronavirus au Cameroun depuis le d\u00e9but de la pand\u00e9mie en 2020. 35\u202f261 personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 gu\u00e9ries, mais la pand\u00e9mie a malheureusement emport\u00e9 1\u202f239 personnes.<\/p>\n

Pour faire face aux effets de la pand\u00e9mie, le gouvernement camerounais a d’abord mis l’accent sur la campagne de promotion des gestes barri\u00e8res puis a initi\u00e9 il y a quelques mois, une campagne de vaccination, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l’initiative Covax.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
