Cette performance intervient dans un contexte marque\u0301 par l\u2019inflation (pre\u0300s de 8% en mai 2023) et une bataille judiciaire avec l\u2019homme d\u2019affaires camerounais Baba Ahmadou Danpullo.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ope\u0301rateur a be\u0301ne\u0301ficie\u0301 d\u2019un marche\u0301 ou\u0300 le taux de pe\u0301ne\u0301tration de l\u2019Internet a atteint 76%, selon ses propres statistiques. Il revendique e\u0301galement une position dominante dans le secteur des te\u0301le\u0301communications avec des parts de marche\u0301 estime\u0301s a\u0300 51,6%, le solde e\u0301tant re\u0301parti entre ses diffe\u0301rents concurrents. Selon des sources des sources internes, la saisie des comptes bancaires de MTN Cameroun par le milliardaire Baba Danpullo aurait pousse\u0301 l\u2019ope\u0301rateur a\u0300 contracter des emprunts impre\u0301vus, engendrant ainsi des charges financie\u0300res supple\u0301mentaires.
