Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Selon les donne\u0301es de la direction ge\u0301ne\u0301rale du Tre\u0301sor franc\u0327ais, publie\u0301es le 4 aou\u0302t dernier, les exportations du Cameroun vers la France se sont e\u0301tablies a\u0300 656 milliards de FCFA en 2022, contre 170,5 milliards en 2021. En un an, la valeur des marchandises vendues a\u0300 la France par le Cameroun a pratiquement e\u0301te\u0301 multiplie\u0301e par 4. Cette hausse des exportations est le fait de l\u2019augmentation exponentielle des ventes d\u2019hydrocarbures a\u0300 l\u2019hexagone.<\/p>\n

Quasi inexistants en 2020 (65,6 millions de FCFA), elles se sont e\u0301leve\u0301es a\u0300 26,8 milliards de FCFA en 2021 avant d\u2019exploser a\u0300 495,9 milliards de FCFA en 2022. Il s\u2019agit des huiles brutes (299,7 milliards de FCFA) et du gaz naturel lique\u0301fie\u0301 (196,2 milliards de FCFA). Les hydrocarbures a\u0300 eux seuls ont ainsi contribue\u0301 pour 96,5% a\u0300 la hausse de la valeur des exportations (+487,4 milliards de FCFA).<\/p>\n

Il est donc fort probable que la France se soit tourne\u0301e vers le Cameroun pour substituer ses importations d\u2019hydrocarbures en provenance de Russie, frappe\u0301e par un embargo apre\u0300s l\u2019invasion de l\u2019Ukraine en fe\u0301vrier 2022. Il faut dire que c\u2019est une entreprise franc\u0327aise qui y est le principal producteur des hydrocarbures. Selon le dernier rapport ITIE, en 2020, sur une production totale de brut de 26,56 millions de barils, 18,81 millions sont venus des champs ope\u0301re\u0301s par Perenco, soit 70,8%. Le pe\u0301trolier est aussi responsable de 97,64% de la production de gaz naturel lique\u0301fie\u0301 (GNL) estime\u0301e a\u0300 72,34 Bcf et de 100% de la production de gaz de pe\u0301trole lique\u0301fie\u0301 (GPL) chiffre\u0301e a\u0300 25 064 TM.<\/p>\n

D\u2019un de\u0301ficit a\u0300 un exce\u0301dent commercial <\/b><\/p>\n

Cette forte hausse des exportations a redresse\u0301 la balance commerciale du Cameroun vis-a\u0300-vis de la France. Le pays d\u2019Afrique centrale est en effet passe\u0301 d\u2019un de\u0301ficit de 185 milliards de FCFA en 2021 a\u0300 un exce\u0301dent de 235 milliards en 2022. Depuis au moins 2015, cette balance commerciale est de\u0301ficitaire. Mais, la performance du Cameroun est un record. Sur la pe\u0301riode, aucun des deux pays n\u2019avait obtenu un exce\u0301dent de 235 milliards de FCFA. Le plus important exce\u0301dent de la France, enregistre\u0301 en 2016, ayant e\u0301te\u0301 de 232,2 milliards.<\/p>\n

Les exportations du Cameroun a\u0300 destination de l\u2019hexagone restent ne\u0301anmoins concentre\u0301es sur peu de produits. Hors hydrocarbures, elles n\u2019augmentent que de plus de 18,3 milliards de FCFA. Cet exce\u0301dent est principalement porte\u0301 par les produits agricoles et sylvicoles (+5,9 milliards), les produits agroalimentaires (+5,2 milliards), les produits me\u0301tallurgiques et me\u0301talliques (+5,2 milliards), ainsi que le bois, papier et carton (+3,9 milliards), mais minore\u0301 par la baisse des exportations de mate\u0301riels de transport (- 2,6 milliards).<\/p>\n
