Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Selon les informations de Cameroun Actuel, le Conseil National de la Communication (CNC) a re\u0301cemment publie\u0301 un communique\u0301 mettant en garde les me\u0301dias et les directeurs de publication contre la ge\u0301ne\u0301ralisation d\u2019attitudes et de propos discourtois, abjects, inde\u0301cents et violents dans les contenus audiovisuels. Le CNC rappelle aux professionnels des me\u0301dias qu\u2019ils sont responsables des attitudes et des propos e\u0301mis par les personnes invite\u0301es sur leurs plateaux.<\/p>\n

L\u2019avertissement du CNC intervient apre\u0300s un incident survenu lors de l\u2019e\u0301mission \u00ab Club d\u2019Elites \u00bb diffuse\u0301e sur Vision 4. L\u2019animateur, Boney Philippe, a e\u0301te\u0301 victime d\u2019insultes de la part du Professeur Jean BAHEBECK lors d\u2019un de\u0301bat sur le he\u0301ros de l\u2019inde\u0301pendance du Cameroun, Ruben Um Nyobe. Ces propos injurieux ont suscite\u0301 une re\u0301action ferme de la part du CNC, qui conside\u0300re que de tels comportements ne sont pas conformes a\u0300 la fonction informative des me\u0301dias et aux exigences de\u0301ontologiques qui les sous-tendent.<\/p>\n

Le CNC rappelle aux journalistes mode\u0301rateurs de de\u0301bats qu\u2019ils ont la responsabilite\u0301 de choisir soigneusement leurs pane\u0301listes et de veiller a\u0300 un encadrement professionnel de leurs e\u0301missions. Il est essentiel d\u2019e\u0301viter la prolife\u0301ration de joutes langagie\u0300res e\u0301piques, d\u2019attitudes insolites et inapproprie\u0301es, qui peuvent constituer des de\u0301rives me\u0301diatiques et porter atteinte au bon ordre social.<\/p>\n

Le CNC avertit que des sanctions seront prises conforme\u0301ment a\u0300 la re\u0301glementation en vigueur a\u0300 l\u2019encontre des professionnels, des programmes ou me\u0302me des organes me\u0301diatiques qui ne respectent pas ces re\u0300gles. Cette mise en garde est conside\u0301re\u0301e comme une dernie\u0300re chance avant l\u2019application de ces sanctions.<\/p>\n

Pour le confre\u0300re, il est primordial que les me\u0301dias jouent un ro\u0302le responsable dans la socie\u0301te\u0301 en favorisant un de\u0301bat constructif et respectueux. Le CNC encourage donc les professionnels des me\u0301dias a\u0300 prendre cette mise en garde au se\u0301rieux et a\u0300 veiller a\u0300 ce que leurs e\u0301missions respectent les normes e\u0301thiques et de\u0301ontologiques de la profession.<\/p>\n
