La mise en place de cette entreprise, qui sera charge\u0301e de conduire le projet de construction du barrage de Kikot, sur le fleuve Sanaga, sera aussito\u0302t suivie de la tenue du tout premier Conseil d\u2019administration, apprend-on de sources proches du dossier.<\/p>\n<p>La cre\u0301ation de cette entreprise, dont les actionnaires sont la socie\u0301te\u0301 Electricite\u0301 de France (EDF) et l\u2019Etat du Cameroun, est une nouvelle avance\u0301e dans le cadre de ce projet, qui vise a\u0300 doter le Cameroun d\u2019un nouveau barrage d\u2019une capacite\u0301 de production oscillant entre 450 et 550 MW. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un investissement estime\u0301 a\u0300 environ 650 milliards de FCFA. Le closing financier du projet Kikot est annonce\u0301 pour l\u2019anne\u0301e 2024, pour un de\u0301marrage des travaux sur le terrain en 2025 et une mise en service en 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre de la recherche des financements pour ce projet e\u0301nerge\u0301tique, l\u2019Etat du Cameroun et son partenaire EDF entendent inte\u0301resser la Banque mondiale. \u00ab Le Ministe\u0300re de l\u2019Economie a [&#8230;] marque\u0301 sa disponibilite\u0301 a\u0300 travailler de concert avec les e\u0301quipes de EDF pour inte\u0301resser le groupe de la Banque mondiale, et plus spe\u0301cifiquement la Socie\u0301te\u0301 financie\u0300re internationale (SFI ou IFC en anglais), dans la perspective du closing financier du projet \u00bb, avait indique\u0301 ce de\u0301partement ministe\u0301riel le 27 septembre 2022 a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301, au sortir d\u2019une rencontre entre le ministre de l\u2019E\u0301conomie, Alamine Ousmane Mey, la directrice Afrique, Moyen-Orient et Me\u0301diterrane\u0301e orientale d\u2019EDF, Vale\u0301rie Levkov, et la directrice ge\u0301ne\u0301rale d\u2019EDF Cameroun, Marle\u0300ne Biessy.<\/p>\n<p>La Banque mondiale, a\u0300 travers la SFI, sa filiale de\u0301die\u0301e au financement du secteur prive\u0301, est de\u0301ja\u0300 partie prenante du projet de construction du barrage de Nachtigal. Cette infrastructure d\u2019une capacite\u0301 de production de 420 MW sera mise en service en 2024.
