Il s\u2019agit de la dette due par le seul raffineur du Cameroun a\u0300 Trafigura d\u2019un montant de 14 milliards de FCFA. La Sonara obtient ainsi un accord de remboursement dur 10 ans avec un taux d\u2019inte\u0301re\u0302t de 5,5%.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019E\u0301tat du Cameroun assure la caution de la Sonara a\u0300 travers \u00ab l\u2019insertion dans la structure des prix des produits pe\u0301troliers d\u2019une ligne de soutien a\u0300 la raffinerie d\u2019un montant de 47,88 FCFA par litre \u00bb, a explique\u0301 le ministre des Finances, Louis Paul Motaze. C\u2019est par ce me\u0301canisme que la Sonara va re\u0301gler ses dettes, non seulement vis-a\u0300-vis de Trafigura PTE Ltd, mais e\u0301galement envers Traders Vitol et PSTV DMCC dont les conventions de remboursement ont e\u0301te\u0301 respectivement signe\u0301es le 22 septembre 2022 et le 26 janvier 2023.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019apre\u0300s le ministre des Finances, le \u00ab processus de restructuration de la dette de Sonara dans son volet \u201crestructuration des dettes vis-a\u0300-vis des traders\u201d, va s\u2019achever en octobre 2023, par la conclusion de trois (3) autres conventions avec les traders Mercuria Energy Trading, Petra Energy et Addax Energy \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>La dette de la Sonara, entreprise publique la plus endette\u0301e, selon les donne\u0301es de Caisse autonome d\u2019amortissement, s\u2019est pose\u0301e avec acuite\u0301 apre\u0300s l\u2019incendie qui a ravage\u0301 une partie de la raffinerie de Limbe en mai 2019.
