Me\u0302me en 2023, son absence est toujours ressentie dans les cercles politiques et au-dela\u0300.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Belinga Eboutou, ayant suivi une formation se\u0301minariste et de\u0301tenteur d&rsquo;une licence en droit canon, d&rsquo;un doctorat en droit, ainsi que d&rsquo;un diplo\u0302me de la section diplomatique de l&rsquo;ENA a\u0300 Paris, avait une carrie\u0300re diplomatique impressionnante. Avant son retour a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301, il avait servi dans les ambassades du Cameroun a\u0300 Brazzaville et a\u0300 Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Sa proximite\u0301 avec Paul Biya, nourrie par une ferveur religieuse commune, l&rsquo;avait conduit a\u0300 occuper des postes cle\u0301s, notamment celui de directeur du protocole d&rsquo;E\u0301tat en 1989. Il avait de\u0301ja\u0300 dirige\u0301 le cabinet civil en 1996, puis repre\u0301sente\u0301 le Cameroun aupre\u0300s des Nations unies a\u0300 New York en 1997. En 2010, il e\u0301tait revenu a\u0300 la te\u0302te du cabinet civil, illustrant ainsi son attachement inde\u0301fectible a\u0300 son mentor.<\/p>\n<p>En tant que bras droit incontournable du pre\u0301sident camerounais, le de\u0301part de Martin Belinga Eboutou du palais d&rsquo;Etoudi il y a un peu plus d&rsquo;un an avait laisse\u0301 un vide palpable, me\u0302me s&rsquo;il e\u0301tait de\u0301ja\u0300 affaibli par la maladie. Son de\u0301ce\u0300s le 8 mai, sur les rives du lac Le\u0301man, a symbolise\u0301 la fin d&rsquo;une relation professionnelle de\u0301voue\u0301e, marque\u0301e par de nombreux se\u0301jours partage\u0301s avec Paul Biya.
