Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Le 23 octobre dernier, l\u2019Interprofession avicole du Cameroun (Ipavic) a annonce\u0301 une harmonisation du prix du poulet sortie ferme. Dans une correspondance adresse\u0301e aux e\u0301leveurs de poulets de chair et de poules pondeuses, le pre\u0301sident de ce regroupement corporatiste, Franc\u0327ois Djonou, fait savoir que le prix de 2 300 FCFA sera de\u0301sormais applique\u0301 aux poulets d\u2019un poids compris entre 1,8 et 2 kg. Mais ce prix ne fait pas l\u2019unanimite\u0301 aupre\u0300s des professionnels du secteur. L\u2019Association des producteurs de poulets de chair du Littoral et du Sud-Ouest (Appolis) affirme que le prix fixe\u0301 ne refle\u0300te pas la re\u0301alite\u0301 des cou\u0302ts. Elle a d\u2019ailleurs envoye\u0301 une correspondance a\u0300 cet effet le 30 octobre dernier a\u0300 l\u2019Ipavic.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le prix de 2 300 FCFA ne correspondait plus a\u0300 la re\u0301alite\u0301 du cou\u0302t de production du poulet de chair. Pour avoir le poulet de 1,7 a\u0300 2 kg, il faut pre\u0301voir 2 200 FCFA de cou\u0302t de production. Nous estimons que la marge de 100 FCFA de\u0301gage\u0301e ne correspond pas aux efforts fournis pendant 2 mois (dure\u0301e de la production, NDLR) \u00bb, affirme Patrick Bakam, vice-pre\u0301sident par inte\u0301rim de Appolis, contacte\u0301 par Investir au Cameroun. Selon ce dernier, Appolis, qui existe depuis moins d\u2019un an, se re\u0301jouit que la vente du poulet sortie ferme s\u2019harmonise a\u0300 celles des autres viandes telles que le porc et le b\u0153uf, mais souhaite toutefois que le prix du kilogramme soit \u00ab ajuste\u0301 \u00bb a\u0300 1 500 FCFA, alors que l\u2019Ipavic a de\u0301cide\u0301 de plafonner le kilo a\u0300 1 150 FCFA.<\/p>\n

Si on se fie a\u0300 cette proposition de Appolis, le prix d\u2019un poulet vif de 2 kg reviendrait ainsi a\u0300 3 000 FCFA a\u0300 la sortie de la ferme d\u2019e\u0301levage, au lieu du prix de 2 300 FCFA fixe\u0301 par l\u2019Ipavic. Lequel prix a e\u0301te\u0301 arre\u0302te\u0301 de commun accord avec les producteurs, tel que le pre\u0301cise Bertrand Benoi\u0302t Onana, le secre\u0301taire permanent de cette organisation professionnelle. Patrick Bakam, le vice-pre\u0301sident par inte\u0301rim de Appolis, affirme que l\u2019association a\u0300 laquelle il appartient a e\u0301te\u0301 consulte\u0301e avant l\u2019annonce de l\u2019harmonisation du prix du poulet sortie ferme. Pourtant, l\u2019Ipavic dit ne pas la reconnai\u0302tre comme association affilie\u0301e.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Appolis comme association est automatiquement affilie\u0301e a\u0300 l\u2019Ipavic puisque l\u2019interprofession est a\u0300 compe\u0301tence e\u0301tendue \u00bb, re\u0301plique Patrick Bakam. Cette association regrette en fait que ses propositions n\u2019aient pas e\u0301te\u0301 prises en compte par l\u2019Interprofession. En plus du re\u0301ajustement du prix du kilogramme, Appolis souhaite aussi que le mode de vente se fasse par voie de balance e\u0301lectronique (de la ferme jusqu\u2019au revendeur du marche\u0301), et que le prix du kilo soit fixe\u0301 en fonction de la fluctuation du cou\u0302t des intrants et de celui des poussins. Dans son communique\u0301 publie\u0301 fin octobre, l\u2019Ipavic annonc\u0327ait de\u0301ja\u0300 que \u00ab les prix seront re\u0301gulie\u0300rement re\u0301ajuste\u0301s en fonction des cours des matie\u0300res premie\u0300res \u00bb.<\/p>\n
