Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Le ministre de l\u2019Elevage, des Pe\u0302ches et des Industries animales (Minepia), Dr Tai\u0308ga, et son homologue du Commerce, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, ont signe\u0301 le 28 de\u0301cembre 2023 a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301, un accord de financement de 130 milliards de FCFA avec la Bridgin Foundation, une fondation de droit belge. L\u2019accord signe\u0301 en pre\u0301sence du Premier ministre, Joseph Dion Ngute, vise a\u0300 booster la pisciculture et la production laitie\u0300re au Cameroun, gra\u0302ce a\u0300 la mise en place d\u2019infrastructures et e\u0301quipements y affe\u0301rents.<\/p>\n

Les investissements a\u0300 re\u0301aliser par ce partenaire du gouvernement camerounais, apprend-on, le seront en mode FBOT (Finance-Build-Operate-Transfer). C\u2019est-a\u0300-dire que la Bridgin Foundation apporte a\u0300 la fois les financements, assure la construction des infrastructures, la production et la commercialisation des produits, avant la re\u0301trocession de l\u2019investissement au gouvernement camerounais au bout de 25 ans d\u2019exploitation. \u00ab L\u2019Etat du Cameroun ne de\u0301bourse rien, mais facilite juste les proce\u0301dures \u00bb, tient a\u0300 pre\u0301ciser le ministre Mbarga Atangana.<\/p>\n

Une fois re\u0301alise\u0301, l\u2019investissement annonce\u0301 par la Bridgin Foundation permettra d\u2019assurer une production annuelle de 100 000 tonnes de poissons et 50 000 tonnes de lait, affirme le ministre du Commerce, cite\u0301 par le journal a\u0300 capitaux publics Cameroon Tribune. Ce projet, poursuit-il, permettra de re\u0301duire les importations annuelles de poissons, qui s\u2019e\u0301le\u0300vent actuellement a\u0300 250 000 tonnes par an, et cou\u0302tent au pays environ 150 milliards de FCFA.<\/p>\n

Le projet participe de l\u2019ambition des pouvoirs publics de re\u0301duire les importations massives de poissons et de lait, qui obe\u0300rent la balance commerciale du pays chaque anne\u0301e. Selon le ministre de l\u2019Elevage, des Pe\u0302ches et des Industries animales, il s\u2019agit surtout de doper la production nationale de deux produits qui occupent une place de choix dans la politique d\u2019import-substitution, mise en \u0153uvre depuis 2021 par le gouvernement.<\/p>\n

Les be\u0301ne\u0301fices re\u0301alise\u0301s dans le cadre de cet investissement, souligne Tanko Mouhamadou, directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral et pre\u0301sident de la Bridgin Foundation, serviront a\u0300 de\u0301velopper dans le pays les infrastructures dans les secteurs de l\u2019e\u0301ducation, de la sante\u0301, et a\u0300 renforcer l\u2019autonomisation de la femme.<\/p>\n
