La diplomatie sportive<\/b>. C\u2019est un pan que nous re\u0301servent les compe\u0301titions sportives organise\u0301es aujourd\u2019hui. Et la CAN<\/b> organise\u0301e en Co\u0302te d\u2019Ivoire<\/b> n\u2019e\u0301chappe pas a\u0300 cet ordre. L\u2019internationaliste Ousman Ahmed<\/b> re\u0301sume l\u2019enjeu diplomatique et ge\u0301opolitique de la CAN. Pour ce qui est de l\u2019approche ge\u0301opolitique, le diplo\u0302me\u0301 en Communication et Action publique internationale explique qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019une de\u0301monstration de force\/puissance, \u00ab la capacite\u0301 d\u2019un pays a\u0300 organiser un e\u0301ve\u0301nement sportif international d\u2019envergure de\u0301montre un certain savoir-faire. Une promotion du nom et de la re\u0301putation du pays, une attractivite\u0301 touristique importante et des retombe\u0301es e\u0301conomiques. \u00bb<\/p>\n

L\u2019organisation de tels e\u0301ve\u0301nements constitue parfois des de\u0301penses importantes pour l\u2019Etat, parfois occasionnant le pre\u0302t d\u2019importantes sommes d\u2019argent. Les acteurs e\u0301conomiques et les autres acteurs dans la chai\u0302ne de valeur be\u0301ne\u0301ficient tre\u0300s souvent d\u2019une croissance. Cette ame\u0301lioration peut e\u0302tre e\u0301value\u0301e en termes de chiffre d\u2019affaires, me\u0302me si ceux-ci finiront en impo\u0302ts plus tard (a\u0300 fin de rembourser les pre\u0302ts). Toujours est-il qu\u2019un e\u0301ve\u0301nement re\u0301ussi positionne davantage le pays a\u0300 l\u2019international. Le Qatar et le monde arabe sont aujourd\u2019hui de\u0301ja\u0300 des lieux de rendez-vous sportifs importants: Coupe du monde, Championnat, Formule 1, Boxe…<\/p>\n

La Co\u0302te d\u2019Ivoire, pense le spe\u0301cialiste, \u00ab a donc tout a\u0300 gagner dans cette compe\u0301tition. Se positionner ou confirmer sa domination en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest (francophone), attirer davantage de personnes vers la premie\u0300re puissance e\u0301conomique des pays de la BCEAO, attirer les touristes en vendant la destination ivoirienne, user de ses atouts et de son leadership dans le domaine du cacao par exemple pour donner de la valeur. \u00bb<\/p>\n
