Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – La Cameroon Telecommunications (Camtel), ope\u0301rateur historique des te\u0301le\u0301coms, vient de lancer un recrutement des techniciens en te\u0301le\u0301communication et des spe\u0301cialistes en informatique dans les dix re\u0301gions du pays, a-t-on appris dans les avis d\u2019appel a\u0300 candidatures signe\u0301s, le 19 janvier 2024, par son directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral, Judith Yah Sunday. L\u2019ope\u0301rateur camerounais n\u2019indique pas le nombre de personnes a\u0300 recruter. Tout de me\u0302me, les nouvelles recrues devront prendre service de\u0300s le 1er mars 2024.<\/p>\n

Ces nouvelles recrues renforceront les effectifs de l\u2019entreprise publique de te\u0301le\u0301coms qui comptait 3996 employe\u0301s (+10,08%) en 2022, dont 170 collaborateurs directs pour le directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral, selon la Commission technique de re\u0301habilitation des entreprises du secteur public et parapublic (CTR), organisme spe\u0301cialise\u0301 du ministe\u0300re des Finances. La me\u0302me source souligne que \u00ab l\u2019e\u0301tude-diagnostic de l\u2019entreprise, commande\u0301e par le gouvernement, a releve\u0301 une organisation obe\u0300se et budge\u0301tivore avec une pre\u0301dominance du style administratif bureaucratique et centralise\u0301 \u00bb.<\/p>\n

En 2022, Camtel a re\u0301alise\u0301 un chiffre d\u2019affaires de pre\u0300s de 178 milliards de FCFA avec ses pre\u0300s de 4000 employe\u0301s, soit une contribution moyenne de chaque employe\u0301 au chiffre d\u2019affaires de 44,5 millions de FCFA. Son concurrent MTN Cameroun a acheve\u0301 l\u2019anne\u0301e avec un chiffre d\u2019affaires de pre\u0300s de 257 milliards de FCFA avec seulement 564 employe\u0301s, soit une contribution moyenne de chaque employe\u0301 au chiffre d\u2019affaires de 455,6 millions de FCFA. En d\u2019autres termes, un employe\u0301 de MTM Cameroun est en moyenne plus de 10 fois plus productif que celui de Camtel.<\/p>\n

Rappelons que Camtel fait partie des 4 entreprises publiques que le Cameroun s\u2019est engage\u0301es aupre\u0300s du Fonds mone\u0301taire international (FMI), a\u0300 placer sous contrat de performance d\u2019ici fin 2024. Il est question ici d\u2019ame\u0301liorer la performance de ces entreprises publiques et e\u0301galement re\u0301duire les subventions que l\u2019E\u0301tat y injecte.<\/p>\n
