Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Le ministre de l\u2019E\u0301levage, des Pe\u0302ches et des Industries animales (Minepia), Dr Tai\u0308ga, a inaugure\u0301, le 24 avril a\u0300 Olembe, au nord de Yaounde\u0301, une nouvelle usine moderne et automatise\u0301e de production d\u2019aliments pour animaux appartenant au groupe Noutchogouin Jean Samuel (NJS). D\u2019un cou\u0302t total de pre\u0300s de 5 milliards de FCFA, cet investissement est porte\u0301 par Provenderie du Centre. Il s\u2019agit de la dernie\u0300re filiale du groupe fonde\u0301 par feu Jean Samuel Noutchogouin, mise en place en partenariat avec des Belges (dont l\u2019identite\u0301 n\u2019a pas e\u0301te\u0301 re\u0301ve\u0301le\u0301e) qui contro\u0302lent 20% du capital, e\u0301value\u0301 a\u0300 un milliard de FCFA.<\/p>\n

Ba\u0302tie sur un site d\u2019un hectare, cette unite\u0301 industrielle dispose d\u2019une capacite\u0301 de production annuelle de 100 000 tonnes d\u2019aliments destine\u0301s aux animaux de tout a\u0302ge, incluant diverses gammes pour les poules pondeuses, les poulets de chair, les porcs, le be\u0301tail, les petits ruminants, les chevaux, les lapins et les poissons. Mais dans un premier temps, Provenderie du Centre se consacre a\u0300 des aliments en granule\u0301s et miettes pour be\u0301tail et volaille. L\u2019entreprise e\u0301tendra par la suite sa production aux aliments pour poissons et au traitement des graines de soja, selon son directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral, Bart Buytaert.<\/p>\n

Les responsables indiquent que les aliments produits serviront principalement les re\u0301gions du Centre, du Sud et de l\u2019Est, et alimenteront e\u0301galement des e\u0301levages dans des pays limitrophes tels que le Tchad, la RCA, le Congo, le Gabon et la Guine\u0301e e\u0301quatoriale. L\u2019usine fournira aussi des aliments destine\u0301s a\u0300 la ferme parentale du groupe NJS situe\u0301e a\u0300 Obala, a\u0300 environ trente kilome\u0300tres d\u2019Olembe, qui devrait consommer entre 600 et 700 tonnes d\u2019aliments par mois.<\/p>\n

Investissement strate\u0301gique <\/b><\/p>\n

L\u2019ouverture de cette nouvelle installation re\u0301pond a\u0300 la demande croissante du marche\u0301, l\u2019usine d\u2019alimentation animale de Bafoussam, a\u0300 l\u2019Ouest, e\u0301tant sature\u0301e. Selon le directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral, Bart Buytaert, le choix d\u2019Olembe est strate\u0301gique. \u00ab Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une nouvelle unite\u0301 du groupe NJS qui vise a\u0300 prendre en charge la production, au Centre, des aliments de\u0301ja\u0300 produits deux mois auparavant a\u0300 l\u2019Ouest, que nous avons de\u0301cide\u0301 de de\u0301localiser ici. La re\u0301gion du Centre est tre\u0300s porteuse pour l\u2019e\u0301levage ; elle repre\u0301sente de\u0301ja\u0300 40 a\u0300 45% du chiffre d\u2019affaires du groupe. Nous avons e\u0301galement souhaite\u0301 nous rapprocher des matie\u0300res premie\u0300res ne\u0301cessaires a\u0300 la fabrication des aliments, qui proviennent du Nord et du Sud \u00bb, a-t-il de\u0301clare\u0301.<\/p>\n

\u00ab L\u2019inauguration de l\u2019usine d\u2019Olembe, fruit de nombreux investissements sans pre\u0301ce\u0301dent dans toute la re\u0301gion Cemac, va e\u0301galement permettre a\u0300 notre groupe d\u2019atteindre une autonomie comple\u0300te dans nos activite\u0301s pour les re\u0301gions du Centre, du Sud et de l\u2019Est, afin de mieux servir nos clients et de re\u0301pondre a\u0300 tous leurs besoins dans la chai\u0302ne de valeur agroindustrielle \u00bb, a re\u0301agi Marcel Tchagongom, pre\u0301sident du conseil d\u2019administration du groupe NJS, reconnu depuis plus de 40 ans pour ses pratiques agricoles durables et ses investissements substantiels.<\/p>\n

Le ministre de l\u2019E\u0301levage, Dr Tai\u0308ga, affirme que cette unite\u0301 de production industrielle participe a\u0300 la re\u0301alisation des objectifs fixe\u0301s par le gouvernement dans le cadre de sa politique d\u2019import-substitution de\u0301finie dans sa Strate\u0301gie nationale de de\u0301veloppement 2020-2030 (SND30). \u00ab Cette importante usine permet de de\u0301velopper des secteurs de notre e\u0301conomie qui pourront re\u0301duire nos importations, moderniser les moyens de production et contribuer a\u0300 transformer davantage nos produits agricoles. Toute chose qui participe ainsi a\u0300 la re\u0301alisation d\u2019une ve\u0301ritable re\u0301volution agricole telle que voulue par le pre\u0301sident de la Re\u0301publique \u00bb, a soutenu le membre du gouvernement, en invitant les ope\u0301rateurs e\u0301conomiques prive\u0301s a\u0300 investir dans le secteur de l\u2019e\u0301levage.<\/p>\n
