Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Cette infrastructure de\u0301die\u0301e a\u0300 la production des aliments pour animaux est dote\u0301e d\u2019une capacite\u0301 de production de 100 000 tonnes par an.<\/b><\/p>\n

Le groupe NJS qui a repris l\u2019an dernier l\u2019inte\u0301gralite\u0301 des actifs du ge\u0301ant norve\u0301gien des engrais Yara, a inaugure\u0301 le 24 avril a\u0300 Olembe, a\u0300 travers sa filiale Provenderie du Centre (PDC), une nouvelle usine de production d\u2019aliments pour animaux, d\u2019une capacite\u0301 de 100.000 tonnes par an.<\/p>\n

Le Groupe NJS a injecte\u0301 pre\u0300s de 5 milliards de FCFA dans la construction de cette usine sur un terrain d\u2019un hectare, dote\u0301e de 6 silos de 500 tonnes soit une capacite\u0301 de stockage de 3 000 tonnes de mai\u0308s ainsi que de deux hangars de respectivement 2400m2 et 800m2.<\/p>\n

Selon les porteurs de projet, l\u2019usine en question servira le marche\u0301 national et les pays limitrophes de la sous-re\u0301gion Cemac (Tchad, Gabon, Guine\u0301e Equatoriale, Centrafrique). Les aliments qui seront produits dans cette usine seront destine\u0301s aux animaux de tout a\u0302ge, parmi lesquels les diffe\u0301rentes gammes de poules pondeuses et de poulets de chair, porcs, be\u0301tail, petits ruminants, chevaux, lapins et poissons. Par ailleurs, l\u2019usine produira des aliments destine\u0301s a\u0300 la ferme parentale du Groupe, situe\u0301e a\u0300 Obala, qui devrait consommer 600 a\u0300 700 tonnes par mois.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Dans une pe\u0301riode ou\u0300 l\u2019Afrique centrale en particulier et le continent africain en ge\u0301ne\u0301ral doivent de plus en plus compter sur eux-me\u0302mes pour leur autosuffisance alimentaire, le Groupe NJS et le Cameroun sont en premie\u0300re ligne de cette re\u0301volution agricole. L\u2019inauguration de l\u2019usine d\u2019Olembe, conse\u0301cutive a\u0300 de nombreux investissements de dimension ine\u0301dite dans toute la re\u0301gion CEMAC, va e\u0301galement permettre a\u0300 notre Groupe d\u2019atteindre une comple\u0300te autonomie dans nos activite\u0301s pour les re\u0301gions Centre, Sud et Est, dans le souci de toujours mieux servir nos clients sur tous les besoins de la chai\u0302ne de valeur agro industrielle \u00bb a de\u0301clare\u0301 Marcel Tchagongom, PCA du groupe NJS.<\/p>\n

Le ministre camerounais de l\u2019agriculture qui a pre\u0301side\u0301 la ce\u0301re\u0301monie de cette inauguration a mentionne\u0301 l\u2019importance d\u2019un tel investissement. \u00ab Cette importante usine permet de de\u0301velopper des secteurs de notre e\u0301conomie susceptibles de re\u0301duire nos importations, de moderniser nos moyens de production et de contribuer a\u0300 la transformation accrue de nos produits agricoles. Elle participe ainsi a\u0300 la re\u0301alisation de la re\u0301volution agricole, pro\u0302ne\u0301e par le pre\u0301sident de la Re\u0301publique \u00bb, a de\u0301clare\u0301 Dr Tai\u0302ga.<\/p>\n
