La CrtvWeb a rendu publique une infographie de la progression du salaire minimum interprofessionnel garanti. Il en ressort qu\u2019en 1992, le SMIG au Cameroun s\u2019e\u0301levait a\u0300 19 000 FCFA. Trois ans plus tard, c\u2019est-a\u0300-dire en 1995, le Smig a connu une augmentation de 4514 FCFA, pour se mettre a\u0300 23 514 FCFA.<\/p>\n

Entre 1995 et 2007 aucune augmentation, c\u2019est en 2008, donc 13 ans plus tard qu\u2019il y aura une nouvelle revalorisation, une embellie de 4 702 FCFA.<\/p>\n

2014 sera e\u0301galement une anne\u0301e d\u2019augmentation. Cette anne\u0301e-la\u0300, le SMIG va quitter de 28 216 FCFA pour monter a\u0300 36270 FCFA, une ame\u0301lioration de 8054FCFA. En 2023, soit 9 ans plus tard, le Smig connai\u0302t une augmentation de 5605 FCFA, pour monter a\u0300 41 875. Une anne\u0301e apre\u0300s, donc en anne\u0301e courante le SMIG connai\u0302t une embellie de 2094 FCFA. Ainsi le SMIG en 2024 est de 43 969 FCFA.<\/p>\n

Il faut souligner que, la hausse du Smig en 2024 intervient dans un contexte marque\u0301 par une augmentation des prix des carburants, et les multiples inflations sur le marche\u0301 en raison de plusieurs crises e\u0301voque\u0301es par le gouvernement. (Covid-19, Crise Russo-Ukrainienne etc.). Ainsi, en ame\u0301liorant les salaires des agents de l\u2019E\u0301tat et en revalorisant les allocations familiales, le gouvernement cherche a\u0300 atte\u0301nuer l\u2019impact e\u0301conomique de ces hausses de prix sur les travailleurs et leurs familles.<\/p>\n
