Pour Magloire Zame, chercheur en sciences sociales, ces e\u0301ve\u0301nements constituent un laboratoire grandeur nature permettant de mode\u0301liser la vie politique camerounaise. Plusieurs constats s’en sont de\u0301gage\u0301s.<\/p>\n

Tout d’abord, la notorie\u0301te\u0301 acquise dans le sport ou la culture est convertible en politique, me\u0302me si cela reste tre\u0300s difficile. L’exemple de l’ancien footballeur George Weah, devenu pre\u0301sident du Liberia, en est une illustration.<\/p>\n

Ensuite, le football s’inscrit comme un objet majeur de mobilisation sociale au Cameroun. Les re\u0301cents e\u0301ve\u0301nements ont montre\u0301 que le football e\u0301tait capable de mobiliser les Camerounais plus que la vie che\u0300re inflationne\u0301e dans laquelle ils baignent sans e\u0301lectricite\u0301, eau, routes…<\/p>\n

Troisie\u0300mement, le soutien politique ne tient pas compte du niveau intellectuel du leader. Ce qui semblait e\u0302tre jusque-la\u0300 comme un pre\u0301alable.<\/p>\n

Quatrie\u0300mement, des hommes en tenue seraient capables de quitter le drapeau pour suivre un leader politique.<\/p>\n

Enfin, le syste\u0300me des fusibles politiques pour qu’une crise sociale atteigne le chef de l’exe\u0301cutif est devenu tre\u0300s court, fragile et poreux.<\/p>\n

Ces constats sont autant d’e\u0301le\u0301ments qui permettent de mieux comprendre la vie politique camerounaise et ses enjeux. Ils montrent e\u0301galement que le football, au-dela\u0300 de sa dimension sportive, est un vecteur de mobilisation sociale et politique au Cameroun. Les prochains mois et les prochaines e\u0301che\u0301ances e\u0301lectorales permettront de voir si ces constats se ve\u0301rifient dans la dure\u0301e.<\/p>\n
