L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nement aura lieu le mardi 17 ao\u00fbt 2021, informe l\u2019instance dans une correspondance envoy\u00e9e au ministre des Sports, pr\u00e9sident du Comit\u00e9 Local d\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n

Ledit tirage au sort \u00e9tait initialement pr\u00e9vu le 25 juin dernier. Mais le 6 juin, la CAF a annonc\u00e9 son report. Officiellement \u00abpour des raisons logistiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19\u00bb, indiquait la conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

D\u2019autres sources mettaient plut\u00f4t en avant des divergences entre la CAF et le Comit\u00e9 local d\u2019organisation. Au sujet notamment de l\u2019agence \u00e9v\u00e9nementiel \u00e0 retenir et du lieu de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie. Les autorit\u00e9s camerounaises avaient propos\u00e9 le Palais des sports de Yaound\u00e9. L\u2019instance que dirige le sud-africain Patrice Motsepe avait \u00e9mis des r\u00e9serves sur cette option, expliquant que le Palais des sports \u00e9tait exigu pour un tel \u00e9v\u00e8nement.<\/p>\n

Selon nos informations, la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie devrait finalement se d\u00e9rouler au Palais des Congr\u00e8s de Yaound\u00e9 situ\u00e9 au sommet de la colline de Nkol-Nyada dans l\u2019arrondissement de Yaound\u00e9 2\u00e8. D\u2019ailleurs les \u00e9quipes de la CAF et du COCAN sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 pied d\u2019\u0153uvre pour am\u00e9nager l\u2019espace d\u00e9di\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Pour m\u00e9moire, le Cameroun va accueillir la grand-messe du football africain du 9 janvier au 6 f\u00e9vrier 2022.
