Alors que la re\u0301union, qui s\u2019est tenue a\u0300 Douala, portait officiellement sur des questions technologiques, nombreux sont ceux qui y voient un signe d’un possible soutien d\u2019Enonchong a\u0300 la campagne de Muna.<\/p>\n

Akere Muna, avocat respecte\u0301 et ancien vice-pre\u0301sident de Transparency International, a annonce\u0301 sa candidature dans un contexte politique tendu au Cameroun, domine\u0301 depuis plus de quatre de\u0301cennies par le re\u0301gime du pre\u0301sident Paul Biya. Muna a re\u0301ve\u0301le\u0301 que leur e\u0301change avait principalement porte\u0301 sur \u00ab les proble\u0300mes syste\u0301miques du secteur informatique du Cameroun \u00bb, saluant l’expertise de son interlocutrice dans un message publie\u0301 sur les re\u0301seaux sociaux: \u00ab Ses vastes connaissances et son expe\u0301rience sont vraiment inspirantes. Alors que la technologie e\u0301volue rapidement, son travail de promotion de la technologie et d\u2019autonomisation des jeunes en Afrique est plus crucial que jamais. \u00bb<\/p>\n

De son co\u0302te\u0301, Rebecca Enonchong, bien que discre\u0300te sur les de\u0301tails de la re\u0301union, a partage\u0301 un tweet sur X (anciennement Twitter), dans lequel elle louait leur e\u0301change: \u00ab Quelle belle conversation. C\u2019est toujours un plaisir d\u2019apprendre de votre sagesse et de votre expe\u0301rience \u00bb, accompagnant ses propos d\u2019une photo les montrant ensemble.<\/p>\n

Cette rencontre alimente les discussions, car Enonchong est une critique farouche du re\u0301gime de Paul Biya. En 2021, elle avait me\u0302me e\u0301te\u0301 brie\u0300vement arre\u0302te\u0301e en raison de ses prises de position contre la corruption et les abus du pouvoir en place. Sa voix, particulie\u0300rement influente dans le domaine de la technologie, ou\u0300 elle est reconnue comme l’une des 50 femmes les plus puissantes d’Afrique en 2023, est respecte\u0301e au Cameroun et au-dela\u0300. En tant que fondatrice du po\u0302le technologique \u00ab Silicon Mountain \u00bb dans le Sud-Ouest du pays, elle incarne l\u2019innovation et le progre\u0300s, des valeurs auxquelles Akere Muna pourrait bien vouloir associer sa campagne.<\/p>\n

Les critiques virulentes d’Enonchong envers le pre\u0301sident Biya ne sont pas nouvelles. Apre\u0300s le discours de fin d\u2019anne\u0301e 2024 de ce dernier, elle avait vivement re\u0301agi, qualifiant les propos du chef de l\u2019E\u0301tat de \u00ab creux \u00bb et pointant du doigt l\u2019absence de solutions concre\u0300tes face aux proble\u0300mes re\u0301currents du pays. \u00ab Vous avez e\u0301nume\u0301re\u0301 les proble\u0300mes. Pour Rebecca Enonchong, une coalition forte est la cle\u0301 pour de\u0301loger le pre\u0301sident en exercice. Elle a insiste\u0301 sur l\u2019importance de la collaboration et de la strate\u0301gie collective dans une campagne pre\u0301sidentielle, expliquant que \u00ab le chef de la coalition se de\u0301cide a\u0300 la fin et non au de\u0301but \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Si l’on ne peut pas encore affirmer que Rebecca Enonchong soutient officiellement Akere Muna, il est clair que leur re\u0301union a fait nai\u0302tre des espoirs au sein de l\u2019opposition et parmi les observateurs du paysage politique camerounais.<\/p>\n
