Africa-Press<\/a> – Cameroun<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Le Think Do Tank The Okwelians lance la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de son nouveau programme The Okwelians 100 (The O\u2019100) par un appel \u00e0 candidatures du 29 Juillet au 30 septembre 2021. Dans le communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 jeudi, ce cercle de r\u00e9flexion indique que \u00ab The O\u2019100 est un classement annuel national dont l\u2019ambition est de valoriser les \u00e9tudiant.e.s du Cameroun qui se distinguent par leur excellence acad\u00e9mique ainsi que leur engagement au sein de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 camerounaise \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le programme O\u2019100 parrain\u00e9 par Pierre De Ga\u00e9tan Njikam, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Fonds Pierre Castel pour l\u2019Afrique, a pour objectif d\u2019identifier et positionner sur le march\u00e9 du travail, les meilleurs \u00e9tudiants camerounais des deux sexes r\u00e9pondant aux valeurs de The Okwelians, en leur offrant une reconnaissance pour l\u2019excellence de leur travail acad\u00e9mique. The O\u2019100 accompagnera les laur\u00e9ats dans la d\u00e9finition et\/ou la mise en route de leurs projets professionnels mais aussi dans la promotion de leur engagement au sein de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 camerounaise.<\/p>\n

Chaque ann\u00e9e, le classement s\u00e9lectionnera jusqu\u2019\u00e0 100 \u00e9tudiants parmi ceux qui auront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une candidature et qui r\u00e9pondront aux crit\u00e8res d\u2019excellence retenus. A savoir avoir un minimum de moyenne de 14\/20, avoir le statut d\u2019\u00e9tudiant d\u2019une Universit\u00e9 ou d\u2019une Ecole au moment de l\u2019appel \u00e0 candidatures, \u00eatre en fin de cursus pour ceux qui sont en cycles BTS, Licence, Master, Ing\u00e9nieur ou tout dipl\u00f4me \u00e9quivalent, pr\u00e9senter une recommandation \u00e9crite d\u2019une page maximum par un r\u00e9f\u00e9rent acad\u00e9mique, professionnel ou associatif, disposer des dipl\u00f4mes ou attestations ou tout autre document justifiant de son excellence acad\u00e9mique, avoir un engagement actif dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, avoir sign\u00e9 la d\u00e9claration sur l\u2019honneur de l\u2019exactitude des informations fournies. Fond\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier 2020 et pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Jacques Jonathan Nyemb, The Okwelians est un Think Do Tank r\u00e9unissant une communaut\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de 350 personnes dont 120 membres actifs et sympathisants, Camerounaises et Camerounais, r\u00e9partis sur quatre continents et d\u00e9sireux de promouvoir par le leadership \u00e9thique, une culture d\u2019innovation sociale au Cameroun. The Okwelians a publi\u00e9 en septembre 2020 une \u00e9tude inaugurale portant Perspectives sur la coh\u00e9sion sociale, la transformation \u00e9conomique et la gouvernance publique au Cameroun. En octobre dernier, et aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du premier Vice-Pr\u00e9sident du S\u00e9nat, Aboubakary Abdoulaye, The Okwelians lan\u00e7ait \u00e0 Rey Bouba son initiative The Okwelians s\u2019engage pour les Villes, en faveur de la promotion de villes camerounaises durables.
