Nouveaux produits, des services innovants, deux centres d\u2019affaires\u2026 Ce sont les bras charg\u00e9s de cadeaux que le deuxi\u00e8me plus grand groupe bancaire du Maroc arrive au Cameroun ce 10 d\u00e9cembre, soit un an apr\u00e8s avoir acquis la Banque internationale du Cameroun pour l\u2019\u00e9pargne et le cr\u00e9dit (Bicec).<\/p>\n

Plus qu\u2019une simple op\u00e9ration marketing, les dirigeants de la Banque centrale populaire au Maroc (BCP) souhaitent affirmer leur attachement \u00e0 leur nouvelle filiale camerounaise (ex-Bicic, fond\u00e9e en 1962). La Bicec, un actif embl\u00e9matique pour le groupe marocain qui, apr\u00e8s avoir durement encaiss\u00e9 les cons\u00e9quences de la crise sanitaire avec un r\u00e9sultat en baisse de pr\u00e8s de 50 % au troisi\u00e8me trimestre, d\u00e9roule malgr\u00e9 tout une feuille de route ambitieuse, en 50 points, au Cameroun.<\/p>\n

Charg\u00e9 notamment du d\u00e9veloppement international, \u00e0 travers l\u2019entit\u00e9 BDI (Banque de l\u2019International), Kamal Mokdad, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du groupe bancaire, se f\u00e9licite de l\u2019empreinte globale de BCP, pr\u00e9sent dans 32 pays \u00e0 travers le monde, dont 18 sur le continent.<\/p>\n

Il revient, pour Jeune Afrique, sur le processus d\u2019int\u00e9gration des quatre filiales acquises aupr\u00e8s de BPCE entre 2018 et 2019 (Maurice, Cameroun, Congo et Madagascar) et \u00e9voque les perspectives du groupe dont l\u2019app\u00e9tit semble bien r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n

Douze mois apr\u00e8s que la Bicec a rejoint BCP, nous souhaitions r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la nouvelle identit\u00e9 visuelle de notre filiale camerounaise, dans la continuit\u00e9 des changements qui ont eu lieu au Maroc, mais aussi communiquer sur quelques r\u00e9alisations cl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9sormais la Bicec sera dot\u00e9e de l\u2019empreinte visuelle historique de BCP, avec le cheval dans un cercle orange, et d\u2019une nouvelle signature : \u00ab Grandir. Ensemble \u00bb. Il ne s\u2019agit toutefois pas d\u2019un changement de nom : Bicec restera Bicec. Une marque dont nous sommes tr\u00e8s fiers, qui dispose d\u2019un ancrage local extr\u00eamement fort, et nous voulons pr\u00e9server cet h\u00e9ritage.<\/p>\n
