Hospitalise\u0301 en Europe depuis pre\u0300s de trois mois pour des raisons de sante\u0301, le ministre d\u2019E\u0301tat a laisse\u0301 la gestion de ses dossiers a\u0300 son ministre de\u0301le\u0301gue\u0301, Jean de Dieu Momo, cre\u0301ant ainsi un vide qui pourrait acce\u0301le\u0301rer les choses.<\/p>\n

Laurent Esso, l\u2019un des piliers du gouvernement de Paul Biya, occupe un poste dit de souverainete\u0301. Son absence prolonge\u0301e a donc des re\u0301percussions majeures sur le fonctionnement de l\u2019E\u0301tat. Selon Jeune Afrique, le pre\u0301sident Biya aurait confie\u0301 a\u0300 ses proches collaborateurs la mission de pre\u0301parer une nouvelle e\u0301quipe gouvernementale avant l\u2019e\u0301lection pre\u0301sidentielle d\u2019octobre 2025. Ce remaniement viserait notamment a\u0300 combler les postes vacants laisse\u0301s par quatre membres du gouvernement de\u0301ce\u0301de\u0301s au cours des deux dernie\u0300res anne\u0301es.<\/p>\n

L\u2019absence de Laurent Esso, combine\u0301e a\u0300 son de\u0301sengagement progressif de la vie publique, pourrait faciliter cette restructuration. Cependant, le ministre, qui a exprime\u0301 a\u0300 des proches son de\u0301sir de se retirer, n\u2019a pas encore officiellement demande\u0301 a\u0300 e\u0302tre de\u0301charge\u0301 de ses fonctions, probablement par crainte des re\u0301percussions politiques. Cette situation cre\u0301e une incertitude, mais elle pourrait aussi offrir une opportunite\u0301 pour un renouvellement de l\u2019e\u0301quipe gouvernementale.<\/p>\n
