Une usine de cure dent devait parait-il voir le jour voil\u00e0 bient\u00f4t un an\u00a0\u00bb, apprend-on.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;ampleur r\u00e9elle du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d&rsquo;exploitation ill\u00e9gale et anarchique des forets au Cameroun a fait il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;un rapport publi\u00e9 par l&rsquo;ONG Les amis de la Terre. Selon l&rsquo;institution, le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est difficile \u00e0 \u00e9valuer. \u00ab\u00a0Les chiffres varient entre 15 % et 40 % des volumes export\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb, note-t-elle.<\/p>\n<p>Cette situation \u00e9tait tellement pr\u00e9occupante que l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne avait n\u00e9goci\u00e9 avec le Cameroun un accord pour obtenir des garanties sur la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 des marchandises (bois) achet\u00e9es. Cet accord, baptis\u00e9 Flegt (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade), s&rsquo;inscrivait dans le cadre d&rsquo;un partenariat pour la pr\u00e9servation des for\u00eats du bassin du Congo.
