Africa-Press – Cape verde. The musician Ezequiel Silva Monteiro is the new president of the Boa Vista Musicians Association (AMBV) elected this Saturday, the 15th, during the ordinary General Assembly held in the city of Sal Rei.
The new president of the Boa Vista Musicians Association (AMBV) expressed his satisfaction with the election and promised to work to idealize projects.
“I’m happy to be elected and our team has several ideas that we will turn into projects. And from the moment we present them all can, together, carry them out”, he said, appealing to everyone’s support to be able to idealize the projects.
The outgoing president of the Boa Vista Musicians Association (AMBV), Manuel Brito, said he left office of his own free will but with a feeling of duty fulfilled.
He recalled some achievements during his term, which lasted three years, during which he implemented activities of “extreme importance” for the good of musicians and for the good of Cabo Verdean culture on the Boa Vista Island.
