Africa-Press – Cape verde. After all the controversy and criticism of recent days regarding the increase in the price of carcass bread, there is a chain of minimarkets (Leonel & Domingas) that has decided to keep the carcass price at 10$00, as a way of supporting families, taking into account the country’s economic situation. The measure is being widely applauded by netizens.
“We inform our valued customers that, due to the current economic scenario in the country, we have decided to maintain the price of carcass bread (at 10$) and others. Life is not about having, it is about giving and being”, advances the Leonel & Domingas mini-market chain, on the social network, quoting “Kevin Kruse”.
This measure, announced about a day ago, is deserving praise and applause from internet users, due to the gesture towards Cape Verdean families.
“Congratulations and much success, that’s what you think about large families with little resources..”, wrote an internet user.
“Leadership is the privilege of having the opportunity to improve the lives of others, not satisfying personal greed,” wrote another netizen.
The accolades are immense. “That is really thinking about those who have large families and do not have many living conditions… good attitude!”.
“A great businessman is the one who, before making a profit, is concerned with satisfying the needs of his customers,” wrote another internet user.
IGAE on the ground
It should be recalled that just this week the General Inspection of Economic Activities (IGAE) disclosed that it had gone over four bakeries in Praia today, where it found the increase in the price of carcass bread and non-compliance with the weight regulated by law, including other irregularities.
This after several criticisms regarding the increase in the price of bread in the capital, in the face of inflation.
This institution guaranteed, at the time, that it would inspect the other bakeries in the capital and in São Vicente, as well.
