Africa-Press – Cape verde. Académica thrashed ABC de Patim by 7-2 at the São Lourenço field, in the game counting for the 13th round of the first division regional championship and is one point behind the leader, Vulcânico.
Académica entered the field knowing the result of its rivals, Vulcânico and Botafogo, who played on Saturday and won their commitments.
The team didn’t shake against ABC de Patim, and practically repeated last week’s rout, and counting for the cup tie, scoring seven goals and conceding just two.
Académica now has 29 points, one less than Vulcânico, which leads the regional, with 30 points, and two more than Botafogo, which occupies the third position.
