Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Ministry of Tourism and Transport has elected the operational tourism program for the 2022/2026 horizon and the creation of the air economic zone in Sal island as the two main projects to be implemented this year.
The information is from the executive director of Tourism in statements to Inforpress to talk about the decisions of the Council of the Ministry meeting in Praia this Friday, the 28th, which had on the agenda the assessment and analysis of the activities carried out in 2021 and the activities plan for 2022.
It was also included in the agenda of analysis of the Ministry Council to seek to strengthen productivity and necessary articulations around the implementation of ongoing projects, in the recovery context of the Tourism and Transport sector in the context of the pandemic and post/pandemic.
“The activity plan for this year brings together projects were already in the masters plans and others that were added from the Ministry, Government and institutes since tourism is a cross-cutting sector,” he said.
