Africa-Press – Cape verde. The program for rehousing families in the south area of Bairro da Boa Esperança, in Boa Vista, will be concluded by the 21st of this month of July.
There are still 37 tents left that will be demolished in the next few days, if an agreement is reached with the families.
This information was provided to Inforpress by the general director of Housing, Eneida Morais, according to whom a team is on the island and will meet with residents in order to agree on the vacancy of the tents and their relocation.
It should be recalled that around 530 families have already been resettled since the start of the programme, which offers two options, namely resettlement
in apartments or the allocation of plots for the construction of their own homes.
